Senators are then staying through the weekend w/ SAVE America Act debate ongoing. Weekend votes could include a cloture vote on an amendment to SAVE on SATURDAY
On SUNDAY, a cloture vote is expected on MULLIN's nomination for DHS secretary, followed by final vote on MONDAY

These tactics are nothing more than fearmongering by Dems who are objecting to this because they want to make it easier for people to cheat.
In a country with citizens bright enough to put a man on the moon and to build the strongest, most powerful military & the greatest economy the world has ever known, Americans are smart enough and capable enough to be able to locate their driver's license when they cast a ballot and to establish their citizenship in order to qualify to vote. Any suggestion to the contrary is ridiculous. 🇺🇸

Perhaps the most outrageous charge that Dems have made regarding the SAVE America Act…
DEMOCRAT MYTH: The bill is going to disenfranchise married women whose birth certificate name is different from their ID.
TRUTH: That is nothing but a scare tactic. It's easy to be able to establish, based on a marriage license or another qualifying document, that your birth certificate name is different from your married name.
As a married father of two adult daughters, I would be the last person on the planet to make it harder for a woman to vote.

If you listen to Senator Schumer and the Democrats, you would believe the American people are dumb or incompetent- they are neither.
Democrats also think that noncitizens should be allowed to vote and that election fraudsters shouldn’t have to prove their identity.

There is one party working to reopen the government, fund our TSA agents, and bring democracy to the airport security line, and that’s Republicans.
