Also, there is very little reason to not be able to handle 5 classes out of season. And even after all of that if you are still “a couple classes short,” take 1 extra semester and finish

NCAA should start a new rule that if you don’t transfer during your 4 years, then you get a 5th year of eligibility. And if you do transfer you don’t get the 5/5

Coaching 3rd in college there would occasionally be places on the road where there would be some heckling going on from the stands .. well trading that in for HS has come with a wild trend and one I’m shocked at .. I’m seeing around half the HS dugouts are full of

This is absolutely the right move. Getting embarrassed in a bowl game against BYU would be really hard on the program. Much smarter to avoid playing tough teams so you can keep your brand intact.

@Re2pectsport @Newmdawg That’s the thing. He did. Evans was the leading receiver and missed 5 games. 4 of the next 5 consisted of 3 true freshmen and a converted RB. Evans had more yards in 8 games that year than 16 last year. Flores/Tyree/ and Merriweather haven’t had as good a year since 2023.

I couldn’t be happier to have a quarterback solely focused on winning and TEAM glory. Ask yourself - how many Gillette ads have you seen from CJ Carr? Carr buzzing his head before the Boston College game says so much about his character. Nothing else matters to him outside of winning football games. 2 years removed from the hysteria Sam Hartman played into over his hair, beard, and looks, I’m happy we have a QB that cares about his ON the Field product.
