@MattofSteel57 Whereas I liked Bronson, Neon Demons, and Valhalla Rising, Only God Forgives and Drive are definitely my top two. With Drive being tailor-made for my tastes and the absolutely pinnacle of his filmography for me.

@ATRightMovies This ranks as one of my all time favorite sequels. I think the only reason people don't consider it a classic is because the first movie was a genre bending scifi, horror, action masterpiece. The original Predator is a very hard act to follow.

Jason' "dead" at the end, hence it being in a dream. Freddy's back in the dream, where he wants to be.
If there' an argument to be made that isn't a draw, then the argument should be that Freddy won.

The rabid FVJ fan in me is foaming at the mouth to disagree and explain why it is an intentionally ambiguous draw, why that is necessary, and how it also makes the most sense canonically for both characters.
...So I'm gonna do it, I'm my own target audience!

My favorite thing about Freddy vs. Jason was that they actually had a winner, unlike so many “confrontation” movies. They had the balls to settle it, unlike Frankenstein vs the Wolfman or Zatoichi meets Yojimbo. Also the early plot in which the kids try to find out what the adults are covering up, only to realize the cover-up was purely good, and was starving Freddy of victims. That ruled.

So far in 0 for 2 when it comes to the new Vertigo books. They aren't bad but Bleeding Hearts wasn't my thing, and End of Life has peaks but the edgelord dialogue makes it tough.
