@marlene4719 Sometimes I feel like people enjoy feeling superior so much that they’d rather keep losing elections, so that there are more people to pick on. As someone who would like a different politics than we currently have, I’d love to see less of this.

@CourtneyHella @Ninja042803 @mr_jay_pea It gets dark (to see a baseball) before sunset. Look, I’m out there every day for practices that can’t start until after school at 4:15, the daylight is important to that outdoor activity and there are many other outdoor activities affected similarly. 1/2

@CoachCrupp @Ninja042803 @mr_jay_pea You can look up a table of when the sun sets. I’m not making this up. On March 8, the suns sets at 6:09pm (without DST!). Then on March 9, it springs forward to 7:10pm. If you want to know the sunset time without DST, just subtract 1 hour from the times listed with DST.

@CourtneyHella @mr_jay_pea You are obviously very unfamiliar with the amount of daylight needed to play, followed by cleaning g up a field and fans leaving the stadium. An hour and a half is not enough, nor is it necessary— Ben Franklin came up with a brilliant idea to help us have the most useful light.

@CoachCrupp @mr_jay_pea On March 1 the sun will set at 5:59pm. With civil twilight lasting until 6:19pm. That gives you more than an hour and half of sunlight to play. By April, the sun will set between 6:40 and 7:16 (civil twilight lasting until 7:48pm.) That’s plenty of daylight! No DST required!
