@Wallbanger40 @latsondheimer The transfer culture has shifted from development and loyalty to short-term exposure and championships. Kids (and sometimes parents) get sold on quick success — promises of starting spots, scholarships, or “guaranteed rings” — without understanding the bigger picture.

@latsondheimer If you don’t want players to transfer give them a better product. If you suck they should be able to transfer out and it’s their choice. They shouldn’t have to be part of a clown show just because. Should be as clean as the college portal!

Multiple transfers to one school in one sport should require the Southern Section to make a school visit. That's what happens in the City Section. Enough is enough.

@Wildcat_USA @chriscfore Got it. I ask because I graduated in 1989 from Calabasas. We had one big year in 87 while I was there. No recruiting when I played. All homegrown!

@CoachFaer @chriscfore Yeah, 1993. Like I said, a log time ago. Calabasas was a freak back then before recruiting.

@chriscfore Brought back a fond memory of when Calabasas beat Serra in an unbelievable 4th quarter surge. Serra’s coach lost his job the next week and that stacked team never recovered. Long time ago.

Here is another kickoff example of what I really liked to do as a kickoff coach. Make them WORK for the ball, hope for them to mishandle it. Kick it to their deep returners as little as possible! 2014 Oak Hills (where I was) vs. Highland.
