Mission Hills has announced the hiring of their new Head Football Coach, Thomas Altieri. A 2005 graduate from Vista High School, Altieri was a First-Team All-CIF selection as a lineman and also a First-Team All State selection by @CalHiSports during the Panthers 2004 season. Altieri continued his football career at @ASUFootball, starting in 22 games at Center during his Junior and Senior seasons. After finishing his undergraduate studies at ASU, Altieri began his career as a substitute teacher and offensive-line coach at Mission Hills in 2010. Before being hired as the current head coach, Altieri was the defensive coordinator for the Grizzlies. He becomes only the second Head Football Coach in Mission Hills history, replacing the legendary Chris Hauser who opened the school as the Grizzlies first head coach in 2004. @Daygofootball @sdfnl @EC_Preps_SD @SDPrepInsider @CalHiSports @sdfootball

Butler Community College has an immediate opening for an Offensive assistant coach. Compensation includes $46k, room and board, and benefits. Responsibilities include but are not limited to coaching a position group, recruiting, film breakdown, opponent scouting, and assisting in all aspects of the offense. Valhalla High School have named Jason Carter as Head Coach, A standout College player at Texas A&M who played in the NFL he was at Lincoln High School for 7 years winning 2 Open and State Championships as Offensive Coordinator and Assistant HC .

El Camino High School have named Stefan McClure as Head Coach, McClure a standout alumni at Vista played his College Ball at Cal-Berkeley and spent some time in the NFL with the Colts , Redskins , Lions and Raiders .

So here are the main coaches whom I’ve been told were either confirmed or rumored to have been candidates, actually applied, or were interviewed for the position of Head Football Coach at Mission Hills High School: Thomas Altieri Sean Sovacool Jason Carter Bashieff Jones Jr Victor Santa Cruz Nick Barnett Tom Carroll DJ Zapata An assistant coach from Cathedral Catholic. If I were to bet on who gets the spot, I would put my money on Sean Sovacool who would keep Thomas Altieri on as his Defensive Coordinator. This post is strictly for discourse and speculation.
