At the 2026 Cougar Leadership Awards, freshman point guard Travis Vasquez was recognized as Athlete of the Year. Travis was named First Team All-ACCAC while helping the Cougars to a 2nd place finish in the ACCAC. Additionally, he finished with a 3.5 GPA in the Fall. #GoCoogs

Parker is the definition of toughness. WINNER! Will improve your culture & contribute to winning. Shot it much more efficiently this year because he lived in the gym. One of the best defenders in the conference. Wish I could coach him forever! He’s a D2/NAIA no brainer!

To see what Travis accomplished this season, you don’t see the unseen hours he puts in. Just does whatever it takes to win. His growth & maturity is paying off. He has completely bought in to our scheme. Self sacrifice for team success. I couldn’t be more proud of Travis!

Blake is the definition of selfless. He’s led us in scoring & the ACCAC in made 3’s while mostly coming off the bench. He doesn’t complain, just works. He cares about winning. I am incredibly proud of his accomplishment, even though he should be a 1st Teamer. Proud of you Blake!

We preach accountability from the top down in our program. My job on game night is to put our guys in the best position to be successful. I didn’t do that in this game. We will grow & learn from it. Proud of the effort displayed by our guys. We will make it a lesson, not a loss.
