We're using player tracking data to capture the spacing available on drives. AJ Dybantsa, for example, rarely saw an open lane when he drove this year. Facing a defender in the paint made it harder for him to get to the rim on his drives, but he remained productive regardless.

Kawhi Leonard shot 40% on catch and shoot 3s, made 52% of his midrange pull-ups, and converted 68% finishing at the rim last season.

When his opponent caught the ball when he was a defender standing in the paint, how did his opponent's touch end?

Dylan Harper put on a show with his finishing during the playoffs. At Rutgers, he had one of the top driving layup FG% of the last two draft classes. Here's how this year's prospects compare.

A list of the NBA defenders who most frequently defend the ball handler in pick actions while also making a positive impact on defense contains some of the best point-of-attack defenders in the league. And here's how the same list looks for this year's draft prospects.

Second-round draft pick, Ajay Mitchell, was a bit of a revelation for the Thunder this year, creating 25 points per game (3rd-highest on the team, trailing only Shai and J-Dub). In college, he had a lot of paint drives each game and he was very productive on those paint drives.

Leons, Coward and Dunn are 3 of the NBA's best offensive rebounders for their size/pos/exp. In college they didn't always go for OREB but they were very effective when they did go for them. Prospects with similar OREB stats in this class: Cam Boozer, Tobi Lawal, Yaxel Lendeborg.
