@975Hans Pete Carroll is 74. It’s about energy and productivity. Kyle would be an outstanding NFL coach!

The way Kyle takes care of himself, keeps his mind sharp and acts young, I could see 8 more years out of that ox. Great years. He’s everything you could want as a head coach. If I was an AD, he’d be my first call right now.

I’m getting more and more salty about this. This is genuinely pathetic and just reeks of entitlement from an institution that ALWAYS gets favorable treatment from the powers that be. Pre-season rankings they don’t deserve, benefit of the doubt with SoS, and constant attention from the media regardless of their record. They haven’t won a natty in almost 40 years and they act like they’ve won it every other year with their level of entitlement. Grow up.

@gregwrubell You can thank Notre Dame for helping to accelerate that change! People can emotionally lament a missed matchup for BYU but their players and staff are standing for something that will move the needle. Big programs going forward - playoffs or bust.

At the risk of a big miss, I am calling my shot: Kalani is not going anywhere. But he is using this moment to push BYU football to an unprecedented level of resource commitment with the goal of winning. This will happen and it will cement Kalani’s legend as co-equal to LaVell.

Lol! It is a weird site for sure! But, you know what he is doing, what he loves, and is having a blast doing it! That staff at BYU has a lot of people on it that I call family! It took some time to get used to, but I can say, Go Cougs! I still love my Aggies and Utes!!
