@TonyDungy Coach, not sure if you remember our meeting while I was the coach of the Tampa Bay Storm but you left a lasting impression on me and my team. Keep making a difference and may God continue to bless you and your family.

I have been informed by NBC that I won’t be back with FNIA this fall and it has given me time to reflect and also to look ahead.    It’s disappointing  news but I want to thank my NBC family for making the last 17 years so special.  I’ll have lasting memories of my time there, especially with Rodney Harrison who has become a tremendous friend.   God has always directed me in these moments and while I’m not sure what the next step will be for me—whether it will be in football, in broadcasting, or getting more involved in church and community outreach —I know God has plans for my life and I can’t wait see them unfold. And I am reminded of one of my favorite verses in the Bible-Romans 8:28. “God works all things for His good for those who love the Lord.”

One of the best Coaches in the history of our game, and one of the best public speakers I've ever heard. His newspaper trick still has me confused, and he has one of my favorite quotes of all time. "When people need love and understanding the most, is usually when they deserve it the least.” R.I.P. Coach

Lou Holtz has died at the age of 89, his family announced Wednesday. The legendary football coach and ESPN analyst led six college programs and won the 1988 national title at Notre Dame.

@purdie_dana Clandestine meetings in the middle of nowhere to exchange films, living over a Greyhound station in a small studio apartment, working on the garbage truck before going to the office, staying late to learn from older coaches. Lining the fields, no job too small loving it all.

I'm the only coach that had to pay their dues when first starting in coaching?🤔 Painting fields, exchanging film, washing clothes and sitting in coaches meetings and not saying anything until spoken to. Now it's give a coach a title and they're considered gurus.

@kurt13warner @KurtBenkert I would put it more on the protection. Very surprised they didn’t try to move the pocket, rollout or give a mobile QB more RPO opportunities.

This Drake Maye tape is worse than I thought. There were wide open guys everywhere even when he had time he just wasn’t seeing it. It was the definition of seeing ghosts game.

No other way to look at it…Seahawks DL man handled the NE OL. No adjustment to protection = big game loss.

Why don’t you move the pocket/ rollout when you have a mobile QB and protection issues? #SuperBowl #Patriots

Everyone in Pittsburgh is going to love new offensive coordinator Brian Angelichio’s emphasis on getting TEs to catch and block like offensive linemen. Steelers landed a good one.

The #Steelers are finalizing a deal to hire #Vikings passing game coordinator Brian Angelichio as their new offensive coordinator, per me and @TomPelissero. Angelichio, also the TEs coach, is back with coach Mike McCarthy. They were together in Green Bay.

@kurt13warner One of the most difficult things in pro football is getting an opportunity. The next most difficult thing is making the most of that opportunity.

The hardest parts for me was believing someone would give me an opportunity… Believing someone else would see what I knew about myself… It wasn’t believing in what I was capable of… It wasn’t believing I could be great if I got it… I see a lot of people allowing their circumstances, other people, to dictate what they believe about themselves… trust what you know about yourself, remind yourself every day… & never let someone else’s NO, make you think you are NO good!

@GBSHansO Players win the games. Belichick provided a good blue print for success. The Patriots won with defense and a great kicking game before Brady became a legend. Similar to this year’s team.

Tom Brady wins a Super Bowl without Belichick. The Patriots are headed to the Super Bowl in their 2nd year post Belichick. But his run with Brady will always be legendary. Everyone showing they didn’t need him.

I rarely comment on NFL coaches but with Mike Tomlin stepping down I have to say he is a coaches coach. The definition of a humble professional. I will never forget how well he treated me during my time in Pittsburgh. So rare in the coaching world.Respect.
