Timeline update: - 10:26pm 911 call. RCMP go to Portapique. Set up perimeter. - 8:02am New info shows shooter is outside the perimeter. - 10:15am Provincial officials offer access to the emergency alert service. - 12:00 Suspect killed while RCMP is writing the emergency alert.

@Brett_CBC @CBCNS Let's stop blaming the RCMP, let them do their jobs and find out what happened. We all want answers that is understandable. Everybody could have probably made different decisions n hindsight.

@Brett_CBC @CBCNS Is there a role for the media to play in all of this? If they felt it was important to share the RCMP Twitter updates on Saturday night or Sunday morning, could they not have broadcast the alerts on the local radio or TV stations? All Nova Scotians are part of the solution.

For those players at the field last night, and those that like to tape your socks, please clean up after yourselves so that the next group doesn't have to pick up your garbage! Everybody is responsible to keep our fields clean and to protect our environment!
