@Coach_Moore_BU I’ve never used a chute for drills but I could see the purpose of it. If it’s the first two practices to emphasize the proper pad level and bend they need to start and step with I think it’s useful. But I would graduate from it by practice 3.

Good pad level at CB is essential but does this chute do more harm than good? For the shorter CBs as you can see in the video it’s optimal reps for them because they have natural bend at the hips and knees and move naturally in the chute. For the taller ones they are bending over

I can’t hear what he is saying very well in the video. Can anyone hear what he said the purpose of them being on their back is for and what the purpose of the Pilates ball is for?

@coachj_bo21 7x1-2 inside leverage. Ideal world we want to be inside leverage if #2 releases away from us. That allows us to kill two birds with one stone by protecting the whole shot on Switch calls and Protect In-Breaking routes once we’re locked.

Defensive coaches When you play Palms/2 Read do you play your Corners inside or outside leverage? We've played both but I'm curious to hear other peoples opinions on this.

@MRittCGS Option 1. I prefer great interior gap control to stop the run. I can buy average pass rush more time to work with blanket coverage on the backend. Getting gashed in the run game makes having a great pass rusher ineffective in my eyes.
