Boston College is expected to hire UMass’ Kurt Anderson as offensive line coach and Joe Dailey has emerged as a strong possibility for its wide receivers coach job, sources tell me and @AJBlack247. Before UMass, Anderson worked for Northwestern, Arkansas and the Buffalo Bills. Dailey — a former Nebraska and Carolina QB — previously worked at BC in 2020 and ‘21 before leaving for an NFL wide receivers coach job with the Panthers.

I'll be at Plymouth North tonight for high school football action as the Eagles take on Hingham at 7 p.m. Both teams are 4-2 and tied for the top spot in the Keenan Division. This begins a real gauntlet for PN with games against Duxbury and Marshfield coming up.

Whitman-Hanson (0-5, 0-2) lost at home to the Plymouth North Eagles 48-7.  Thiago Magalhaes scored the Panthers lone touchdown on a pass from Jack Martin, with Kevin Brzuszek adding the extra point. Brady Cocio hauled in a 45 yard pass from Quinn Frazier to set up the touchdown.  Defensively Mikey Giannino and Tommy Lee both had tackles for loss on the night. Jackson Alexander, Pat Ryan, and Bobby Walker all had 5 tackles on the night. The Panthers honored their 15 seniors before the game, including team manager Paul Roback who has been an integral member of the football program for the past three seasons.  Whitman-Hanson heads to Marshfield next week for a league game.
