The “Oops” comments from Wizards are so interesting on a philosophical level. Letting this deck that completely deconstructs your game exist because it’s cheap to buy shows an inherent discounting of the value for the actual game.

Decided to have some fun at today’s challenge and jammed my boy Gyarados! We lost in the finals to Forest of Vitality and having a bad opener in best-of-one can have its disadvantages. Also, we did Waterfall multiple times today to not deck ourselves!

@Mmdw34 @BlossBlorrenTCG I’ve tried the Honchkrow version, I’m not sure if I’ve just been having bad luck but I never seem to draw well when I play the deck. I will be testing it out at this week’s challenge though!

@Commander_Crane Aslong as we are all members under one giant red R it does not matter. Beautiful stuff.

@Mmdw34 I think it’s solid! It gives the deck another basic for consistency and getting lucky with a discard from its attack without having to attach energy can be huge!

I went to another challenge and we took it down! Only change to the list was swapping the catcher with a brave bangle, which was very relevant. After a few casual days and two challenges, I feel like I’m starting to catch on. Played against Drag/Noir, Zoroark, and Gholdengo.

@recondirective Luckily I have friends that open a lot of packs and gave them to me, I explained that they’re commons and what they’re for and they had no issues with me having them!

seeing people scalp poke pads is literally the lowest of the low. the one thing players had that collectors don’t is a use for playable trainer cards. y’all can’t let us have ONE thing in this hobby and im so tired of it.

Some scumbag behavior in day 1 of the rc. It was extremely hard to focus on my match while angleshootermcgee was loudly pestering the judges and his opponent over his punt.

Placed Top 4 in my first competitive Pokemon event with Team Rocket’s Porygon! In a room full of Raging Bolt and other established decks, my squad of cyber ducks R-Commanded their way to a few wins!

@ArchieJonathan1 @DragonShield_ I’ve had bad luck with Dragon Shield recently too, the last few boxes I’ve bought have been splitting constantly whereas I never used to split them 10 years ago.
