@MentalDeklein @comrade_casey That's what I am saying. Trotzky was a great thinker and analyst and a lot of his writings held true. He didn't compete with Stalin to become the new leader of the Soviet Union. He propagated for the opposite. He was against the concentration of power.

No matter what you think of Trotzky, murdering a loyal member of your party, someone who had a key role in the revolution, is just bad.

@ComradeSnark17 @comrade_casey I've always found it hard to compare the two just by virtue of how different their trajectories were overall. Trotsky may have been a better leader for the Soviet Union, but that would've also negatively impacted the way we see him now as well
