I build software for therapy practice. I keep seeing the same issue. Good therapists struggling with marketing that feels unclear or uncomfortable. I write a short weekly email with practical, ethical marketing tips for mental health professionals. 👉 PracticeBrief.co

Most therapists do not struggle with skill. They struggle with explaining their work clearly online. That gap creates far more stress than people realise.

Google Ads has a reputation for being expensive 🫰 and not being effective, but a targeted well managed campaign can absolutely being in clients to your therapy practice.

Is Ireland failing? On Saturday I visited Deansgrange Cemetery, a classic Victorian garden cemetery opened in 1865. Over 150,000 people now buried there, including Sean Lemass, John A. Costello, Ernest Walton (1951 Nobel Prize winner), Kathleen Behan, Dr Kathleen Lynn, Dermot Morgan etc. However since Dun Laoghaire-Rathdown County Council adopted allegedly environment-friendly policies the cemetery has been overgrown with invasive Mare’s Tail (Horsetail). It’s now covering graves and is a potential trip hazard for visitors. Is Deansgrange a powerful metaphor for Ireland’s public administration? @1rorycowan @ColetteColfer @CormacLucey @Glinner @OdohertyI64991

What do you value more, inexpensive things that just about serve their purpose, or expensive things that excel at their job ?

The snow that brought Ireland to its knees for a week, how do other countries deal with snow every winter ❄️

There is a chronic shortage of psychiatrists both public and private in Ireland, why are doctors not choosing to work in this specialty?

@tugceaytes I think it depends on the type, there are induction glass top hobs and the old heated rings that are below the glass hob, I think some metals like aluminium don't work with induction hobs, that being said cast works great with both.

Have you ever used glass-top electric stoves? Did you have any problems with grilling steaks/ribs with cast iron pans on them. We may move to another house aokm and this is the only thing that concerns me about it. 😊
