In 1905, when AB was forced into Canada, 1 in 4 Albertans were American born.
That is why the CPR railroad was pushed through, (at great expense,) to decrease that influence.
That explains a lot. AB has much more in common with Montana than Ontario.
But independence 1st!

Pierre Poilievre is getting 8M votes and counting so far. It’s the highest ever for a Conservative leader including Harper and Mulroney for their majorities by well over 2M voters. Justin Trudeau got 6.9M for his largest vote total and majority in 2015.

@CoppJc That’s when Trump is going to invite Pierre to Mar A largo. it will be very public. There will be smiles and hand shakes w/ heads of state and Trump will offer Pierre some concessions on tariffs and state the two can work together. That is called a soft coup and that is coming.
