Happy birthday to former @LutonTown player, coach and manager David Pleat, who turns 81 today. Pleaty played for the Hatters in the '60s, scoring ten goals in 79 first team games, and had two successful spells as manager (1978-86 and 1991-95).

Those were the days. @LutonTown v Liverpool in the snow. I'm amazed the Hatters won any games with terrible players like Preece, Donaghy, Nicholas and Hill in the side. And who's that on the ball for Liverpool? Oh yes, he used to play for the Town and was rubbish as well.
