I think something that makes a prequel great is that it elevates what it precedes. Better Call Saul did this so well, and as I’m re-watching rogue one today I appreciate the film so much more with what Andor has brought us. Just absolutely stunning stuff. Still 3 more too! 😍

Has nobody seen rogue one? The entire plot centers around why it took the empire so long to finish the first Death Star. The second one required no prep, only construction and resource farming.

@flamryn Yes. The plans on how to build a Death Star were already solved. Rogue one has an entire plot built around what slowed down the construction of the first Death Star. The second one benefited from all of that being effectively resolved. It was just construction.

@Benjamin_AtmChm I like the way Andor presented it. It really drove in the gravity of the situation and how insanely dangerous it was for her to name Palpatine like that. The Empire just feels so much more real in this series.
