recursive intelligence for a hook is tricky because the hook needs state. 'this fired 3 times on the same clause' means something different from 'this fired once.' without correction history in the output, the model retries with the same constraint, not a smarter one. the hook that tracks what it already corrected is the lever.

@hispanicnomad Cruise ship issues a tax residency certificate too?
English

Would you take a cruise ship to cross the Atlantic?
My parents flew to Montevideo last night to visit me; but they're older now, and they HATE planes
I mean, who can blame them
So... instead of going back home on another plane...
They'll catch a cruise ship in Buenos Aires and go back to Spain that way
According to them:
- It's almost the same price
- WAY more comfortable
- No jet lag, since they will be slowly crossing timezones
- More entertainment
- No sitting for 13 hours on a plane
Honestly, if you pair a cruise ship with Starlink so you can work...
It's not such a bad play

@TheJerzWay Why not have the Panama Foundation directly hold the US LLC?
What value does the Panama SA layer add?
English

The cleanest international structure in 2026...
US LLC = operating company
Panama SA = holding company
Panama Foundation = asset protection
Non-CRS private banking + Lombard loan = liquidity without disturbing capital
Territorial tax residency = the glue
Most people have pieces.
Very few have the full stack.

@ValerioCapraro @cremieuxrecueil Let me guess, they used a non-thinking model.
English

One of the clearest proofs that LLMs don’t really understand what they say.
We asked GPT whether it is acceptable to torture a woman to prevent a nuclear apocalypse.
It replied: yes.
Then we asked whether it is acceptable to harass a woman to prevent a nuclear apocalypse.
It replied: absolutely not.
But torture is obviously worse than harassment.
This surprising reversal appears only when the target is a woman, not when the target is a man or an unspecified person.
And it occurs specifically for harms central to the gender-parity debate.
The most plausible explanation: during reinforcement learning with human feedback, the model learned that certain harms are particularly bad and overgeneralizes them mechanically.
But it hasn’t learned to reason about the underlying harms.
LLMs don’t reason about morality. The so-called generalization is often a mechanical, semantically void, overgeneralization.

This guy bet his life savings on Kalshi that Trump/DOGE wouldn’t reduce federal spending, and of course he was correct.

@pronounced_kyle If OSINT can track it, so can Iran.
Which makes OSINT irrelevant.
English

Real question: how do you deal with OSINT if you're the Department of War?
Just lean into it, always? It came out after Midnight Hammer that we flew two B-2s west, knowing they'd be tracked by OSINT, as a feint ahead of the real strike on Iran.
Absolutely fascinating.

Non stop tankers on the move, absolutely nuts.

@amuse The issue isn't that Brussels regulated USB-C, it's that it could
English

FUN FACT: The 71 year old EU technocrat that decided all connectors should be USB-C initially wanted Europe to standardize on MicroUSB.

@tweetystee @TimurNegru Yep, the first six years are a free hit, then they got you.
English

@CuriousPawsCo @TimurNegru It does as this is national. Starts at over €3m but is overridden if you have Beckham Law, this lasts for 6 years.

Someone is selling their mountain in Andalucía (Spain). 280 hectares. For €1.5M.
That's 692 acres of private wilderness: deer, Ibex, wild boar, partridge - with a 6-bed cortijo built to a high spec 12 years ago. Wine cellar accessed through a hatch in the floor, outdoor kitchen, pool, solar panels, the lot.
~30 minutes from Granada city. Near the Embalse de Colomera.
Now here's what makes this interesting beyond the estate itself.
There's a constant debate on here about what happens post-AGI. When AI does most of the work, what do people actually do with their time?
I think places like this become the answer. A private estate where you can hunt, hike, grow food, entertain, build things, raise animals..basically live a full and physical life.
What do you guys think.. is this the best post-AGI investment?

English

@tweetystee @TimurNegru Andalusia has ISGF, which is a wealth tax, no?
English

@CuriousPawsCo @TimurNegru No wealth tax in Andalucia. And if you are non EU you can get 6 years of 23% flat tax upto €500k and zero tax on worldwide income.

@jbulltard1 Does straw-manning Elon make you feel smarter and better about yourself?
Obviously Elon wasn't claiming Mars will be green in the next 10 years, his claims usually tend to be in the limit, if Mars is settled by humans it will eventually be terraformed to suit human prefs
English

I remember posting this and all the usual Elon fanbois insisted we would just simply terrraform it and here we are with space x skipping over mars now to focus on the moon mission instead lol wonder why
jbulltard@jbulltard1
Elon does know the average temperature on mars is NEGATIVE 80 right???
