If the log periodic model turns up to be true and confirmed it would be very cool because then both the long term trajectory and oscillations are due to a single complex exponent power law of the form: P(t)= t^(beta+ i omega) where beta=5.8, omega = 8, and i is the imaginary number. How cool that would be?

Sunspot data shifted forward 3 years also show a marvelous correlation to both the 10-2 (or 10-1) spread and to unemployment. See mcoscillator.com/learning_cente…. And people still think that the Fed or the White House can affect the jobs market. Go figure.

The most correlated macro data that explains the 10-2 yield curve is the unemployment rate. Why? The short end drives most of the movements in the curve, and employment heavily influences the short end via Fed policy. This relationship goes back decades. While it’s not always perfectly linear, a strong directional relationship exists.

Bitcoin has continued to search for a bottom, and I still think that the $60k is a good place to look. We may well undercut it at some point, but based on the power law support line and the gold/Bitcoin ratio, I believe that level should act as a floor.

My son Saverio made a great logo for the Scientific Bitcoin Institute. It is simple but it contains the important information, the atom as universal symbol for science but the electrons are connected in a network that it is one of the most important topics the Institute will study.
