The last time I tried to use it, my phone wasn't even that warm. I think the battery temp widget said 95F. I start to notice warmness to touch above 100F and throttling above 108-110F. This temperature sensor is such a useless gimmick.

Here is how things go pretty much every time I try to use the Pixel 8 Pro's built-in thermometer. 1. Feeling sick? Let's see if you have a fever. We don't have a thermometer with us, but my phone has one built-in. So handy! 2. "Temperature sensor is too warm." 3. The end.
