Stacks is working on a self custodial staking model for Bitcoin They have a proven track record and have distributed the highest real Bitcoin yield of any layer (4000+ BTC to stakers) since inception Some Monday morning napkin maths from me: STX market cap is ~$400M right now Let's assume they go down a similar Dual Stacking route and institutions will need $STX tokens to boost their yield Let's say 10% of their BTC value as a conservative estimate Let's guess institutional interest for self custodial staking is 10,000-20,000 BTC which is $700M - $1.4B in Bitcoin plus the current $300M in sBTC The amount of $STX needed here would be $100-170M, which is 25-45% of the entire current market cap in buy pressure You can extrapolate the maths from here and if it really takes off... The best marketing is green candles right? Just some food for thought

People are having meltdowns, stress & disillusionment about the future of Bitcoin. A better way to spend the bear market is to optimize sleep, workouts, and deep work. This is the time to build the future! For Stacks this means launching Bitcoin staking. Long live Bitcoin 🟧

1: I do not pay tax 2: I spend around 4000$ total a month 3: have given loads to charity in the form of paying for medical operations for people that really need it 4: I keep my wealth spread out through various continents (different pro-crypto banks for example), the rest is digital in stablecoins, bitcoin, stocks, + 2 eco-farms and land and some business related to nature call me an asshole for not paying tax or living like this, that is fine, but here you have my reasons why, so please read on: 1: I paid mountains in tax for many years, much more than 99.9% of people will pay in their entire lives, but i refuse to pay more when EU politicians throw it away like this on all kind of useless sh*t, crazy programs, woke madness, destructive policies. I also think that the tax systems that singapore or switserland have are much more reasonable and a good example for many countries. Efficiency is the key, not relentless increases in taxes to squeeze the population dry of creativity and incentive to store wealth. Still pay VAT of course on what i consume, but since i spend very little, that is negligible 2: we live a humble life-style close to nature, produce a lot of our own food, and do not need to consume a lot. Of course i have no debt, property paid off etc, but overall the idea that all crypto-people that ¨made it¨ spend a sh*tload or have decadent lifestyles is simply not true. The idea of spending not too much but living comfortable close to nature means that capital can last a long time, what matters for us is having lots of free time (also to look inside), that is where real value is 3: maximum resilience is the idea of the setup spread out over various continents 4: if i ever pay tax again, that is fine, i do not exclude living in any place, as long as the money does not go to total waste, i just do not need to right now while not doing anything illegal, i never select a place to live because it has zero tax, just went there because it felt right 5: i do not like to give to charities because many stories came out of charities abusing the money etc, so i prefer paying directly for people that need it, with medical operations is easy to verify where the money goes and what the results are (do not bother asking, i do not do hand-outs through this X-account to anyone, answering dm/chat for free is my charity here) 6: if you are tired of living in one place, or do not like it, or do not want to pay tax, stop complaining. Just get moving and go live somewhere else. Many lovely places in the world. You got 2 legs and the members of your family as well. Act or do not act, your choice, your life, your destiny, your game of consciousness

Tired of all the “trust me bro” bs that’s so rampant in the space But when there’s actual receipts & actual transparency into how a protocol generates yield, that’s worth taking a look & putting actual capital behind it Don’t fade Hermetica

Judging by my tl there is a growing gap in understanding of AI capability. The first issue I think is around recency and tier of use. I think a lot of people tried the free tier of ChatGPT somewhere last year and allowed it to inform their views on AI a little too much. This is a group of reactions laughing at various quirks of the models, hallucinations, etc. Yes I also saw the viral videos of OpenAI's Advanced Voice mode fumbling simple queries like "should I drive or walk to the carwash". The thing is that these free and old/deprecated models don't reflect the capability in the latest round of state of the art agentic models of this year, especially OpenAI Codex and Claude Code. But that brings me to the second issue. Even if people paid $200/month to use the state of the art models, a lot of the capabilities are relatively "peaky" in highly technical areas. Typical queries around search, writing, advice, etc. are *not* the domain that has made the most noticeable and dramatic strides in capability. Partly, this is due to the technical details of reinforcement learning and its use of verifiable rewards. But partly, it's also because these use cases are not sufficiently prioritized by the companies in their hillclimbing because they don't lead to as much $$$ value. The goldmines are elsewhere, and the focus comes along. So that brings me to the second group of people, who *both* 1) pay for and use the state of the art frontier agentic models (OpenAI Codex / Claude Code) and 2) do so professionally in technical domains like programming, math and research. This group of people is subject to the highest amount of "AI Psychosis" because the recent improvements in these domains as of this year have been nothing short of staggering. When you hand a computer terminal to one of these models, you can now watch them melt programming problems that you'd normally expect to take days/weeks of work. It's this second group of people that assigns a much greater gravity to the capabilities, their slope, and various cyber-related repercussions. TLDR the people in these two groups are speaking past each other. It really is simultaneously the case that OpenAI's free and I think slightly orphaned (?) "Advanced Voice Mode" will fumble the dumbest questions in your Instagram's reels and *at the same time*, OpenAI's highest-tier and paid Codex model will go off for 1 hour to coherently restructure an entire code base, or find and exploit vulnerabilities in computer systems. This part really works and has made dramatic strides because 2 properties: 1) these domains offer explicit reward functions that are verifiable meaning they are easily amenable to reinforcement learning training (e.g. unit tests passed yes or no, in contrast to writing, which is much harder to explicitly judge), but also 2) they are a lot more valuable in b2b settings, meaning that the biggest fraction of the team is focused on improving them. So here we are.

The degree to which you are awed by AI is perfectly correlated with how much you use AI to code.
