I'm happy to announce that our work on Biginelli dihydropyrimidines (DHPyms) as alkyl radical precursors is published in Chemical Science! #MyFirstChemSci
DHPyms are like Hantzsch esters, but more reducing.

And some fantastic news to end the week. At long last our work on BCBs is out in @ACSCatalysis (link below). What started as an idea on an envelope over 4 years ago and then a "quick project to start your PhD" for Maxim ended up filling almost all of it.
