Trump channels Reagan, dominates Republican Party lizpeek.com/news/trump-cha…

New: A top White House aide intervened to get a $620 million Pentagon loan for a company tied to Donald Trump Jr. “The call came from the White House: We have to get this done,” said one person involved. propublica.org/article/donald…

Here is how dumb Scott MacFarlane is: This is what will happen at the Arraignment: Def Lawyer: "My client has received a copy of the indictment and I have reviewed it with him. He waives reading of the Indictment, and he waives further reading of his statutory and constitutiona rights. He enters pleas of Not Guilty to all Counts, and we request immediate discovery pursuant to Rule 16." That's it. That's an A&P I been in hundreds on both sides of the courtroom. It is an anachronism of "days gone by" when a defendant had no idea what he was charged with until he was brought before the judge. Now the only purpose is to put on the record that the defendant knows he's been charged, that he has an attorney to represent him, and to set some dates for further proceedings. Then everyone leaves.

CNN exclusive: "The Justice Department has launched a criminal investigation into E. Jean Carroll, the former magazine columnist who accused President Donald Trump of sexual assault, according to multiple sources familiar with the matter" cnn.com/2026/05/27/pol…

It’s bad form to call someone dumb, so I won’t. But anyone who actually *listened* to what MacFarlane said would have heard him say “they go to trial Oct. 21 if the calendar holds up, the DOJ is going to have to show some of its cards in that case.” He didn’t say that would happen at arraignment, so criticizing him as “dumb” had no basis.

Trump could have presided over a very strong economy. All he had to do was...nothing: Inflation was trending downward, the AI boom was raising growth. Instead, he engineered a global trade war and energy shock, while shrinking America's labor force. vox.com/politics/48939…

Trump: "Secretary of War Pete Hegseth. Central casting. He loves war."
