Yesterday Israeli soldiers shot and killed a 2 year old Palestinian girl in the West Bank. If she was Israeli you’d see her picture and hear her name on every news station. Her name was Laila al-Khatib and this is her….. Israel has murdered over 3000 toddlers in the past 12 months, just like Laila their crime is just being Palestinian.

@shockproofbeats I always took the phrase to mean the Irishness of the head was very obvious rather than the size. But a noble endeavour nonetheless.

I was walking through London last night when someone called out of the dark at me, "Are you Jew?" I froze and turned around. It was two school girls. They asked again if I was a Jew. They had something in their hands. I panicked and said no. I was expecting them to launch into an angry "Palestine" rant and thrust pamphlet material at me. It turns out they were handing out candles for Hanukkah. I'm not Jewish. But I shan't forget that volt of panic I felt in the moment I realised I was being viewed as a Jew, and not knowing if things would end well or end badly because of it. I cannot imagine what actual Jews in London and Europe are going through at the moment. I felt paranoid for the rest of my trip. Whilst their offer of candles set my mind at rest and the world became a better place for a moment, it is easy to imagine such an interaction going in the opposite direction...

I took so much ecstacy on the friday night before the festival that I could barely walk or talk for the whole weekend. On the worst come down of my life watching the Cure play album tracks in the lashing rain. Horrible time.
