I run the pros/cons almost every day, and WFH keeps winning. Not because the job is deeply fulfilling, but because the freedom-to-compensation ratio is absurdly good. At some point the rational move is not to blow it up, but to use that surplus time and energy to build the things you actually care about outside the job.
