Remembering Dr Martin Luther King Jr. on his birthday, born on this day in 1929, his life was taken away so tragically on 4th April 1968, he was just 39 years old. He will always be remembered for advancing civil rights through non violence & civil disobedience.

"Though ye slay me, yet will I trust in Him." My little niece just passed away. Oh Man! She had a stomach ache. Her parents took her to the ER. She died around 11 am. Don't know why yet.

Coach Ted Owens, now 94-years-young, brings back his 1974 team this weekend for a 50-year reunion of their Final Four run. Coach Owens addressed the current team after practice today and his message was this: “When we get together nobody remembers who the leading scorers were. Nobody remembers who the star was of a particular game. All anybody remembers is how we did something special as a TEAM.” Wise words from a special Jayhawk who Bill Self calls “the best I’ve ever seen at staying in touch with past players.” Love you, Coach! #kubball

The Christmas card I sent to my older brother got returned to me. He did let my mom know he was alive a few months ago but now we don’t know where he is again. He is an Army veteran who has really struggled since his time in Iraq. I’d appreciate if you’d pray for him.

Proud of our team again. I consider our team to actually have 9 starters. It took the 4 guys coming off of the bench the 2nd half (they played a ton the first half too as always) to really spark us, especially once we changed our pressure. A 62-36 win takes us to 11-2.

Okay.. people who know me know I'm a huge Darnell Washington fan. I've always thought that Darnell was underappreciated (which he was) and thought he was better than Brock Bowers.
Now that Brock is leaving and I'm taking a step back and looking at the big picture of what Brock was able to accomplish while at Georgia, I think im finally read to admit Brock might actually be better (not to say they weren't both fantastic players).
Not only was he potentially better than Big 0.. I've seen people comparing him to being better than Herschel Walker... whenever you're being put in the same sentence and him, you're in good conversation.
Gotta be able to admit when you're wrong.
