Really disappointed in all the previews calling Oppenheimer a "theoretical physicist." Guys, he was real. Check Wikipedia before making yourself look stupid.

it's kinda wild that most authors are broke but resources for authors to better themselves is so, so, so expensive. some of these writing courses are more expensive than taking creative writing courses at your local community college.🥲

Seeing some threads tonight about agents who are against authors self-publishing books, and honestly, in 2023, WTF???

👋 Newsletter peeps: check yer Inbox! Email went out a day early, for reasons that will become very clear when you open it! It's a fun one this week, and exceedingly useful too, if you ask me.

Facebook phishing scams are getting worse - as per @TechCrunch. Hacked pages are now buying ads from Meta too. techcrunch.com/2023/05/05/hac…

And actually, rather than Facebook making progress against the scammers, things are getting worse. Reporting these scams does nothing anymore - Facebook stopped bothering to reply about 9 months ago and the volume keeps increasing.

Facebook's promise to make Verified accounts more secure might be more believable if they had done literally anything about these obvious scams which come up almost daily now for over a year. 🙃 (link to phishing site obscured)

Being defrocked this morning has left me reeling. No one will ever know how important I was.

There has been a fair bit if this too which was... unexpected.

Two more phishing scams against my (verified) @facebook page since I tweeted this. They aren't even trying to stop it.
