In this 2015 interview, the host — a Tsinghua University professor — expressed genuine curiosity about how Elon Musk was able to found SpaceX without prior experience and knowledge in aerospace, especially given that rocket science is one of the most demanding hard sciences — and that Musk was serving as both CEO and CTO. Musk explained that deep expertise can be built outside formal academic programs — by reading extensively, conducting experiments, and speaking directly with experts in the field.

@greg_price11 The opposite. They tried to ban "conversion therapy" - tried to ban the counselor from telling the boy he IS a girl.

The state of Colorado has now lost at the Supreme Court on cases where they tried to force a Christian baker to bake a cake for a gay wedding, force a Christian web designer to make gay wedding websites, and ban a Christian counselor from telling a boy he is not a girl. Maybe they should consider just leaving Christians alone.

The real reason Dems HOWLED when Trump sent ICE to the airports is that they knew it would solve their purposefully induced chaos. And so it has. A reasonable Trump governing action defeated Dems unreasonable but deliberate plan to inflict pain on the American people.

Justice Jackson wrote a 35-page dissent in Chiles v. Salazar about how it should be constitutional to ban counselors from telling a boy he is not a girl. It was longer than Justice Gorsuch's majority opinion and Justice Kagan's concurring opinion combined.

The mainstream media's total blackout on the Japan-America Lovefest on X is interesting isn't it Over the weekend, something genuinely beautiful and barrier-shattering unfolded between ordinary Japanese and American X users after the rollout of a major Grok powered auto-translation feature combined with algorithm tweaks. Two tribes of humans separated by language and distance and.. history, just talked directly to each other in whimsical ways, shared countless pictures of BBQ meats and muscle cars, and co-created anime memes reflecting their newly formed bond. It was raw, it was real, and it was super wholesome. There was so much curiosity about the other. I saw a really respectful debate about Shinto theology versus Christianity, a viral post about fart nomenclature, treatises on why American culture and gun culture can't be separated, tips on what meat cuts to use for BBQing and how to make marinade, and the shared bonding that comes with the realization that "hey… your crazies sound and look exactly like our crazies.” Liberals love to preach about the sacred importance of “connecting” - building bridges, fostering dialogue, and embracing cross-cultural understanding. Well, here it was on X - a genuine, organic, bottom-up explosion of goodwill between ordinary Japanese and American citizens. This was human connection above borders and it's exactly what every self-proclaimed progressive claims to live for. And yet, when it finally happened, apart from @PirateWires and @TheBabylonBee, there's been a total media black hole about this. Which is maybe excusable if they didn't actually spend WEEKS covering "chinamaxxing" as a social media trend on TikTok last month. BBC, NYT, WaPo, CNN, WSJ, GQ all pumped out multiple fawning articles about influencers suddenly finding themselves at their "most Chinese time of their lives," and how Beijing’s cultural exports were winning hearts and minds. But it's total crickets when Japanese and Americans voluntarily, joyfully, and directly bonded on X. Why? Because this lovefest is not anti-Western. It’s not anti-American. It’s not pro-authoritarian. It’s two free peoples with no pretensions looking at each other going "hey, you’re pretty cool actually.” So the mainstream media doesn't really know how to cover something like that. Nor would they want to. It's not in their DNA. There is no point to score against America and particularly, the Americans they despise the most (the ones whose lifestyle the Japanese were super interested in). So there's no story there. Anyway, if X can repeat this many times over in other countries - that would be huge. Great work @nikitabier

A Vietnam vet said I don’t know what I’m talking about… because I said the AR-15 is NOT more powerful than the M4. Let that sink in. I responded to a veteran who made the claim that the AR-15 is more powerful than the standard military issue M4. Then another vet came behind him and basically said I’m the one who doesn’t know guns. Here’s the problem: Respect for your service and being factually right are not automatically the same thing. The modern civilian AR-15 is semi-auto only. The M4 can do more. Same basic platform. Same round. So how exactly is the civilian rifle somehow “more powerful”? It isn’t. And this is exactly how bad gun arguments spread — people hear confidence, emotion, and credentials… and assume that means the facts are solid. So I want to hear from y’all: Should veteran status protect somebody from criticism when they’re wrong about guns? Comment: YES if you think service changes the conversation NO if facts are facts no matter who says it And be honest — Would you have called this out too, or stayed quiet because he’s a Vietnam vet? youtu.be/71xRpD2tijE

All the large accounts that present themselves as truth-seeking journalists or commentators, then quote posts like this and act utterly baffled—“What the hell!?” “WTF!?” “What’s going on here???”—are frauds. It took me less than a minute to see what the court documents actually said and understand what they meant. They do not show that the bullet was not fired from the gun. They show only that the bullet was too fragmented to confidently link it to ANY gun. This is not uncommon, and DOES NOT mean the bullet didn’t come from Robinson’s gun. Of course the defense attorneys are going to spin this as evidence that Robinson is innocent. That is what defense attorneys do. They scrape together every possible fragment of doubt and present it as if it were fully exculpatory. It’s not. Defense lawyers are paid to downplay or ignore evidence pointing to guilt, exploit people’s cognitive biases, and make fallacious arguments sound persuasive. This information about the bullet doesn’t erode the case for Robinson’s guilt in any way. It is totally neutral on that front. And it in no way invalidate the mountain of positive and mutually corroborating lines of evidence we do have for Robinson’s guilt. You should expect more from the commentators you follow, and hold them accountable by refusing to give them your attention in the future. If they could not be bothered to spend even one minute checking the facts before spreading confusion to you and millions of others on X, they do not deserve your attention. They are nothing more than grifting engagement farmers.

Calm down. These happen a few times a year, and not just in the U.S.. No system is immune to occasional failures. None. You’re panicking for nothing, though. Pilots did exactly as trained…like we all are. There are multiple levels & they ran calculations to make sure if an engine failed on takeoff, they’d be able to safely return. That’s how we calculate it for every takeoff.
