You are free to disagree with me, but as an Arsenal fan, I said it before that the game between PSG and Arsenal would be the game for Declan Rice to prove that he is a world-class player. But let me ask you a question. What did you see Declan Rice do in that game that proved he is the best player in the world? For me, world-class players separate themselves from everyone else in the moments when their team needs them the most. Declan Rice played 120 minutes, and in the end, Gabriel took a penalty and missed it. As one of the leaders on the pitch, I expected Declan Rice to step up and set the example. He said before, “It’s not over,” and I wanted to see him make sure it was not over. For sure, I think the media should stop exaggerating players and calling them the best before they prove it. Let their success do the talking. Don't get me wrong, I love Declan Rice and I think he is a great player, but for me, he is not a world-class player.

And they're still bragging as if they beat PSG in a major competitive match. Champions of England this season wasn't available too.

We said he was incompetent and unfit to officiate at the highest level. Some of you came here to defend him . Unfortunately, his errors have cost Arsenal the 2025/2026 champions league trophy The first error in the match, he angrily booked Bukayo Saka for a 50/50 challenge Error number, referee Daniel Siebert stopped Bukayo Saka from taking a corner kick in the last second of the first half That decision was shocking and emb@rrassing. I have never seen when a match is stopped when there's a goal bound move. Then, the biggest error of the night was when Madueke was clumsily hauled down in the eighteen yards by PSG Nunez Mendez The referee Daniel Siebert waved on there was no foul and penalty. That decision was what cost Arsenal the match and the trophy. Arsenal lost the trophy because the center referee Daniel Siebert was incompetent. He failed to do his job properly To tell you that he was incompetent, Daniel Siebert has been dropped from the list of referees to officiate at the world His name was completely committed a clear indication of an indictment by FIFA To officiate at the final of the UEFA champions should one of the highest jobs for a refeee Now , Daniel Siebert officiated at the UEFA champions league final but not considered good enough for the world cup This is Karma at work. It came so fast for Daniel Siebert.

Arsenal win the Premier League title and then lose the Champions League final on penalties to Paris Saint-Germain would normally still be considered a strong season on paper…domestic success combined with a deep European run. But the reaction online has been far harsher than the achievements suggest. Despite lifting the league title, the narrative has shifted heavily toward the Champions League final defeat, especially because it came via penalties, which often amplifies criticism and “what if” discussions. Instead of being remembered as a double-success season, it is being framed by many as a missed opportunity on the biggest stage. What makes the backlash feel even more exaggerated is the comparison being made with Manchester United’s recent struggles…finishing as low as 15th in the league and losing a Europa League final to Tottenham in the 2024/25 season. On paper, that is a far worse campaign in almost every measurable way, yet the level of ridicule and scrutiny aimed at Arsenal has, in some corners, been just as intense or even stronger. It highlights how expectations change perception: Arsenal are now judged like a dominant elite side, where even a single lost final can overshadow a league title, while other clubs are often assessed against lower expectations, making poor seasons feel less surprising and therefore less criticized in the same way.

Arsène Wenger always had a soft spot for players who brought something different to his teams. And few Arsenal careers are more misunderstood than Jeremie Aliadiere’s. Because when people talk about Aliadiere, they usually jump straight to the injuries. The setbacks. The missed opportunities. The endless "what if?" conversations. But there was far more to his Arsenal story than that. Aliadiere arrived in North London from the famous Clairefontaine academy in France carrying enormous expectations. This was a young striker blessed with serious pace, intelligent movement, and the kind of technical quality Wenger loved. The problem? His timing could hardly have been worse. Because standing in front of him was Thierry Henry. One of the greatest forwards the Premier League has ever seen. Breaking into Arsenal's first team was difficult enough. Breaking into an Arsenal side led by Henry was almost impossible. Then came the injuries. Just as Aliadiere seemed ready to build momentum, another setback would arrive. Again and again. And that's ultimately what prevented supporters from seeing the very best version of him in an Arsenal shirt. Yet there were still moments that showed exactly why Wenger rated him so highly. One of the biggest came at Anfield in January 2007. Liverpool vs Arsenal. League Cup quarter-final. A young Arsenal side travelled to one of the toughest grounds in English football. Most expected Liverpool's experience to prove too much. Instead, Arsenal produced one of the most memorable cup performances of the Wenger era. A stunning 6-3 victory. Julio Baptista grabbed the headlines with four goals. But Aliadiere played a huge role in the chaos Arsenal caused. His movement constantly stretched Liverpool's defence. His pace created problems all evening. And he capped the performance with a goal of his own as Arsenal tore Rafa Benitez's side apart. For one night, supporters got a glimpse of the player Wenger had believed in for years. Fast. Sharp. Fearless. Always willing to run beyond defenders. Always looking to create space for teammates. Unfortunately, those flashes never became a consistent Premier League career at Arsenal. Not because of a lack of talent. Not because of a lack of effort. Simply because football can be cruel sometimes. While others enjoyed uninterrupted development, Aliadiere spent too much of his early career fighting to get fit again. That's why many Arsenal supporters still view him differently from the way casual fans do. They remember the potential. They remember the pace. They remember the performances in cup competitions. And they remember a player who never stopped battling despite constant setbacks. Football history is full of stars who fulfilled every prediction. But it's also filled with talented players whose careers were shaped by circumstances beyond their control. Jeremie Aliadiere belongs firmly in that category. A gifted striker. A product of elite French football education. A player whose Arsenal story will forever be accompanied by the words: "What if?" Proper talent. Proper fighter. Jeremie.

Next season might be Very competitive more than the just concluded season. The teams I think will compete toe to toe with Arsenal the first one is Chelsea with Xabi Alonso considering he will not be competing in Europe which I think will make him more focused on qualifying for European football and winning the league. Liverpool getting Andoni Iraola will make them a competitive team again in fact he may take them back to the way they were with Jürgen Klopp. I must admit Bournemouth have played the best football last season and not forgetting they were the best pressing team. If he gets everything right with his transfers at Liverpool then they will be there too competing for the league. Man United with Michael Carrick though I haven't known his style of play and where there strength is as a team I think they will also be competitive but that's if they add on their squad size because an injury to a player like Bruno will mean they will automatically lose footing and lose some games which will take them out of the race. Arsenal having got over the line and won the league I believe they will not have the pressure they had last season. They will likely start the season as the favourites to win the league and if they create a gap at the top of the league then they will automatically go ahead and win because they now know how to handle the pressure of being top of the league. Man City I don't expect them to compete next season

When George Graham got married in September 1967, he did not even get the whole day away from football. It was the morning of a north London derby. Arsenal were playing Tottenham at Highbury later that afternoon, and Graham’s best man was Terry Venables. Which would have been fine on almost any other Saturday. Only Venables played for Spurs. So Graham got married in the morning, had the reception, and then both of them left. Once the game started, the wedding counted for nothing. Graham and Venables had stood together a few hours earlier, but at Highbury there was no best man and groom act. It was Arsenal against Tottenham. And the two of them played like it. Graham scored Arsenal’s second. Arsenal went on to win 4-0. Then Graham and Venables had to go back to the reception. One of them had just got married, scored in a north London derby and won 4-0. The other one had been best man in the morning and beaten by the groom in the afternoon. Graham summed up his day with one sentence. “It was the best day of my life… oh and I got married too.”

Mikel Arteta will win more titles if he spend same 10 years of Pep's 20 titles. Football is about how you finish, not just how you start. Pep Guardiola spent 10 solid years winning 20 trophies. Many of you praising and singing Pep's name today weren't doing the same when he was only 6 years into his journey at Manchester City. So comparing Pep's 10-year achievements with Mikel Arteta's 6 years is immature. Wait until Arteta also completes 10 years before deciding who has the greater legacy at their club. Arteta has officially won 4 trophies in his first 6 years. That leaves 16 titles to match Pep's total of 20. Divide those 16 trophies across the next 4 years and that's just 4 trophies per season. Remember, Arsenal wanted to win the quadruple this season, but injuries and other uncertainties affected the team. Arsenal are coming back with full force. Now that the players have learned their lessons and are champions of England, they are going to take the Premier League by storm and conquer Europe. If they win a quadruple in each of the remaining 4 years, they will collect the 16 trophies needed to equal Pep's historic total of 20. You may laugh now, but football has a funny way of humbling opinions. Arteta will break or equal Pep's record.

The fact that your club is not characterized for the Emirates Cup doesn't mean you should discredit the competition. This is not some random charity match or behind closed doors matches. You don't have to rank the Emirates Cup alongside the Champions League or Premier League, which are the most 2 major trophies in the world but pretending it is meaningless simply because your club has never been involved is hilarious. How many big clubs were involved in the club world cup? If someone dismisses the Emirates Cup as insignificant, they should first look at the caliber of clubs that have participated over the years. A tournament cannot attract that level of opposition and still be treated as just a glorified friendly. Winning the Emirates Cup requires preparation, tactical discipline, defeating quality teams, aggressiveness and high level officiating which is why it deserves more respect than people give it. Emirates Cup is one of the most established preseason competitions because of the schedule in league centers featuring some of Europe's biggest clubs, should be acknowledged as a legitimate trophy rather than being casually dismissed. While it may not carry the prestige of a league title or continental competition, it is a recognized tournament where clubs compete to eliminate and win silverware against elite opposition. The Emirates Cup features clubs such as; Arsenal Inter Milan Paris Saint-Germain Valencia Hamburger SV Real Madrid Juventus Atlético Madrid Rangers AC Milan Celtic Lyon Boca Juniors New York Red Bulls Galatasaray Napoli FC Porto Monaco Villarreal VfL Wolfsburg Hamburg, That's a list packed with league champions, European champions, and historic football institutions from top league centers. These clubs didn't show up to play isolated like Club World Cup in the park. So for Mikel Arteta to win it 4 times in a row deserves recognition. Remember these trophies were not just awarded to him but won them. If your club had lifted the Emirates Cup, you'd be counting it in the trophy cabinet too. So you like it or not Mikel Arteta has won 8 titles in 6 years for Arsenal football club. 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆

Former Manchester United legendary coach joined Manchester United in 1986 and left Manchester United in 2013 That was 26 years as the manager of Manchester United. By the time left, he has won 38 trophies. 38 trophies in 26 years The trophies are 13 league titles 5 FA Cups 4 League Cups 10 Community shield 2 Champions league trophies And six European and world trophies Did you notice that 10 of his 38 trophies are Community shields? Former Manchester City manager Pep Guardiola joined Manchester City in 2016 His is departing at the end of this month. That's ten years as manager. In ten years, he won 20 trophies for Manchester City The trophies are as follows. Competition Titles Premier League 6 FA Cup 3 EFL Cup (Carabao Cup) 5 Community Shield 3 UEFA Champions League 1 UEFA Super Cup 1 FIFA Club World Cup 1 Total 20 Like Sir Alex Ferguson, did you also notice that the three Community shields are also listed as his trophies? Now bring the same scenario to Arsenal and Mikel Arteta Ask the average British media and Chelsea fans the numbers of trophies won by Mikel Arteta as an Arteta Their response will be two trophies. One FA cup and one premier league trophy. Then remind them about the two Community Shield Then , they will tell you that Arteta's Community shield is not a trophy These same people who listed Pep Guardiola and Alex Ferguson 3 /10 community Shield as trophies has made a u turn to deny Mikel Arteta's Community shield as trophies. Sadly, that's the double standard and hypocrisy of Chelsea fans and the English Premier League pundits They judge Arsenal differently. The community shield won by Alex Ferguson and Pep Guardiola are trophies but the three won by Mikel Arteta is not It's so tiring. The double standard we see every day

This is the moment PSG players surrounded the German referee and urged him to blow the whistle for half-time, preventing Bukayo Saka from taking Arsenal’s corner kick. Many Arsenal fans believe PSG were eager to avoid defending another dangerous Arsenal set-piece. Looking back at that moment now, it’s easier to understand why referee Daniel Siebert blew for half-time just as Bukayo Saka was preparing to take Arsenal’s corner kick. At 1-0, the French side knew exactly how dangerous Arsenal are from corners and dead-ball situations. The Gunners have built a reputation as one of Europe’s most effective teams from set pieces, and PSG clearly wanted to avoid facing one final delivery into the box before the break. From Arsenal’s perspective, it was a frustrating decision. With the corner already awarded, many supporters felt the team should have been given the opportunity to take it, especially in a Champions League final where every moment can prove decisive. That said, referees are expected to make decisions independently and without influence from players on either side. While players will always appeal, complain and try to gain an advantage, the responsibility ultimately rests with the referee to remain impartial and apply the laws of the game consistently. The incident has sparked plenty of debate among fans, with many Arsenal supporters believing the pressure from PSG players played a role in the timing of the whistle. Whether that was the case or not, it remains one of the most talked-about moments from a tense and highly competitive first half.

If Calafiori actually ends up at Real Madrid, Arsenal are going to be at a serious crossroads. So the question is simple: what next? Plan A: Go all in for Lukeba. Plan B: Turn to Nathan Brown. And honestly, this is where recruitment really gets tested. Lukeba feels like the safer “elite ceiling” option. Left-footed, calm under pressure, already used to big-game intensity. That’s the kind of profile you bring in if you want instant control and long-term stability at the back. But Nathan Brown? That’s the wildcard. Younger profile, aggressive, rawer in comparison, but with serious upside if developed properly. It’s the kind of signing that screams project rather than plug-and-play. For me, it comes down to Arsenal’s intention. Are we trying to maintain a title-winning defence immediately? Then Lukeba makes more sense. Or are we thinking long-term evolution and squad depth development? Then Brown becomes more attractive. Either way, replacing Calafiori won’t be straightforward. You don’t just lose that level of quality and casually fill the gap without consequences. Arsenal can’t afford sentiment here. It has to be the right profile, not just a name that looks good on paper.

Mikel Arteta on why Noni Madueke did not take a penalty in the UCL final against PSG “I asked Noni Madueke to be the third penalty taker, but he told me he was feeling pressure and did not feel comfortable taking it. I respect honesty from players, and I will never force someone in a moment like that. But I also have to be honest… I do not fully understand it. This is a player who, at Chelsea, had no problem fighting over penalties with Cole Palmer and Nicolas Jackson. So when the biggest moment arrived, a Champions League final, suddenly there was pressure? Gabriel stepped up, took responsibility and unfortunately missed. I will never blame players for missing penalties, but mentality matters. At a club trying to win the biggest trophies, I do not want players who run away from pressure. Big players must embrace big moments.”
