Thomas Massie for Congress
Never in the 250 year history of our Republic has this happened in a Congressional race. Support from all over the country is pouring in, because this May 19 election is about We The People vs. foreign lobbies & Epstein’s billionaire cronies. Join here: MassieMoneyBomb.com

@TimKoltek @Cernovich I partly agree, but I think early on in life the balance agould be more in favor of sports and play and this will help build a healthy balance. My mom got me into sports while I gamed as well. I had to get good grades and be outside on balance. Outside of that, I could game on

The video game as hobby debate is tedious because it’s no different from online shopping, gossiping in group texts, thrifting, meandering at the farmers market, or scrolling social media. As long as one isn’t neglecting health, business, and family duties, who cares.

@vanmom @Cernovich I gotta be honest, I was born mid 80s. I got started games when I was like 5. Of all the things that would have got me tempted into porn, I didn’t need gaming to do it. I think your kid has more risk of exposure in middle school than on a PlayStation.

@Cernovich I would just be curious about dopamine hits from video games versus your other examples. And my concern as a mom is that dopamine addiction from video games leads to porn use

@fbi__open__up @Z4BTC_ Unattractive hobby… who the hell are you to say? Half of my buddies I game with all are married and well adjusted, good men. What you are saying simply doesn’t add up. You seem angry and insecure.

@Z4BTC_ You'll never meet a dude that pulls a lot of women that spends his spare time playing video games like a kid. It's fine to enjoy it, but at least be real about the fact that it's an unattractive loser hobby.

This debate over men gaming as a hobby reveals a lot about how modern society views men. You are expected to be a worker droid, devoid of any emotion except for gleeful servitude toward your wife, employer, and government overlords. Humans have always had passive hobbies and interests. Ironically, the same women who shame men for gaming will spend seven hours a day on social media. And the same men who shame other men for gaming will spend hours watching sports and gambling. We don’t care about gaming to impress women. We do it because it’s fun and it’s an easy way for us to connect with friends who don’t live near us. Even if you train relentlessly hard in the gym, build a business, or work 80 hours a week, everyone needs passive free time. So I see no difference between people who, in their free time, game, watch Netflix, or scroll on social media. But as I said earlier, any time spent not in servitude to women will be criticized now. And people wonder why men are refusing marriage and family life. It’s another form of slavery.

@fbi__open__up @Z4BTC_ I pulled an amazing woman, my wife, and I still game. I have balance in it, but we have an amazing son, family, and marriage. I have a successful career. Pulling girls shouldn’t be the measure, it should be pulling a quality wife and starting a family.

@cesspooltwit1 @Z4BTC_ I know tons of successful men who have hobbies. And I have also know men with your attitude who are constantly measuring themselves up against every other man they see and trying to dictate what a man is, only focusing on the dickhead aspects of being a man. No thanks.

@Z4BTC_ I’m a dude. Sorry to inform you bro. If you care about your work, help raise your family, are a good husband and go to the gym then there is no free time for a “passive” hobby. It’s part of being a man. Get used to it and stop crying like a little bitch .

@LizzieMarbach @GabrielHudelson So, you get to define what “masculine” is while trying to use the Holy Book to guilt us? Next you’ll tell me that men in Bible times didn’t have hobbies, they must be an entirely modern invention, right? Just take the L already.

READ THE WHOLE THING. 🔥🙌🏼 Per usual, @GabrielHudelson brings in all the sanity, clarity, and fire needed on a topic. “it makes perfect sense from a biblical perspective why gaming would not be attractive to females. And any culture where it becomes attractive to females would be concerning for a simple reason – masculinity is supposed to do stuff.”
Gabriel Hudelson@GabrielHudelson

ARE GAMERS GIGACHADS? (🧵) @LizzieMarbach started the latest online brouhaha over whether or not men who play video games are attractive to women. A few quick thoughts on the whole topic. 1- this is clearly an area where there is Christian liberty. You can’t say that it’s a sin to play video games any more than you can say that it’s a sin to watch a movie (though it should be obvious in both cases that some movies and video games would be inherently sinful and that there would be a level of addiction or idolatry that would be sinful, which would be true of any hobby). 2- the question of whether something is attractive is related to the question of whether or not it is good, but it is not identical. For example, there are a lot of feminist women who would not be attracted to patriarchal men. Doesn’t mean that the Biblical structure of the home is wrong. The goal of life is not to maximize attractiveness. That being said, when something is broadly unattractive, it does lead to the question – why? Is this because something is wrong with the culture, or is it because there is something inherent to masculinity or femininity that this contradicts and is therefore unattractive? 3- it is OK and even good to have recreational hobbies. Part of living humbly as mortals is acknowledging that we need time to rest and recover. God even commanded times of rest and celebration for His people. 4- just because we should not institute a legalism that dictates what hobbies people are allowed to have does not mean that we cannot honestly assess hobbies for their inherent worth- or lack thereof. This doesn’t mean that we need to create a hierarchy of hobbies and then pressure everyone to all be interested in whichever hobby comes out on top. We are all different, and that is OK. But we can and should honestly look at our hobbies through the lens of Paul’s lawful/profitable paradigm. Video games, weightlifting, scrolling Instagram, and playing the piano are all lawful hobbies. But are they equally profitable? Subjectively or objectively? It is a question worth considering honestly. (1/3)

@maggistratus Again with the blanket statements. Playing for hours daily can be just fine assuming you have balance otherwise and take care of your priorities. Jeesh. You all talk like games are a gateway to basement dwelling loserdom. It is called HAVE BALANCE WITH EVERYTHING.

Playing video games is completely fine as a concept. The issue comes when it borders on or becomes a full blown addiction. No type of addict of any variety is attractive. You play video games on occasion for fun or stress relief? Fine healthy You play every day for hours? Bad
Lizzie Marbach@LizzieMarbach

I know this is unpopular, but it will always be unattractive for a grown man to play video games. Some women might be understanding or pretend like they don’t care that you spend hours playing, but they do. It is extremely unattractive to women and will never not be. 🤷🏼‍♀️

@Howlingmutant0 What is so funny about this is that I’m NOT doing it for my wife or kid. I’m doing it because I enjoy it, period. I have balance and am an awesome family man, but I work hard and my friends are remote so this is a hobby of mine and I don’t care how others feel about it.

@PoliticianRGay @katiemcneilly23 @TraditionSarah No shit. She literally thinks a gamer is one type of person across the board and we are ignoring our kids to play Roblox or something. It is the weirdest hang up, but it makes sense because it is primarily a masculine hobby. Can’t let guys be guys unless we are doing manual labor

If your husband enjoys gaming may I suggest not being a frigid bitch, letting him enjoy a hobby just as you do, and throwing all caution to the wind and venturing out of your comfort zone to try it with him sometime. All this gripe is just women trying to poorly assert control in a way that creates miserable men and does nothing except enhance resentment. As with any hobby, communication is key. Writing men off because they enjoy something you do not is insane girl behavior, stop that.

@katiemcneilly23 @TraditionSarah Funny I can be all of those things and have some control freak woman like you say men like me aren’t good enough. You meet a handsome guy and he’s a great dad and family man, great career, awesome husband, but he is summed up by a video game? No wonder women are childless.

@katiemcneilly23 @TraditionSarah It isn’t fucking binary. Men can still do those things as well, like I do. Successful career, awesome dad and husband, love to cook and tinker and learn, love be outdoors, etc. What the hell is wrong with you women? Oh, YOU want to define for us what men are. No thanks.

@MeghanEMurphy Funny thing is I love my wife regardless of what hobbies she has. To me, literally all of who she is dwarfs any neurotic bias I would have against her “waste of life” hobby. She is an amazing mother, nurse, wife, supporter, on and on and on. Get over yourself, shrew.

Literally just had this conversation with a friend yesterday. Sorry, but gaming is always going to be a juvenile, unmasculine, lame hobby/activity. All it says to me is that you have no problem wasting your life. Are you a teenager or a man?

@TXStrong11 @MeghanEMurphy I think you are being too strict. The idea that my kid and wife MUST be both asleep before I do something I enjoy is lame take. My wife and I have a great marriage, we do tons together, we also juggle the toddler so the other gets time to recoup. He is loved and cared for.

Question: a man, husband, father gets off work, does some yardwork, plays with his son, gives him a shower, eats supper, helps clean the dishes, showers himself, reads a few books until his son falls asleep, wife falls asleep, he makes a drink and plays a video game from 930-1130. Is it still an issue? I'd appreciate an answer.

Black Savage Stomps Filipino Kid’s Head in Brutal Attack! This savage stomp happened during a youth basketball game in California — clear as day on video. The 13-year-old Black player crushed the Filipino boy’s head after a loose ball fight, sending him to the hospital with a concussion. No excuses.

Mass deportations are horrible. Yes, your wages would go up and housing would be more affordable. Your school would have more resources while your health and car insurance rates would go down. But GDP might go down a bit. Is that really something you'd want?
