Paul Cooke, should never be on comms. Couldn’t be more up Wigan’s arse if he tried. Yes they’re playing really well, but Jesus, tone it down a little bit.

@MartinSLewis It’s like they’re raising an issue that everyone will want fixing, gets everyone on their side believing they will fix it, then do nothing about it if they actually have power. Same process over and over with different issues.

You're right. I've been campaigning on this since 2007. Council tax (Eng&Scot) is STILL based on a flawed stop-gap valuation done by driving by homes in 2nd gear in 1991. The system is broken. YET when I've asked about it, all parties, incl yours, have shied away from any change
Jonathan Hinder MP@Jonathan_Hinder

A £24,000,000 mansion in London pays LESS property tax than a £240,000 pebble-dash semi in Lancashire. Council Tax is a joke. Let’s sort this out.

@pythaginboots Last thing he needed was a pile on, but you put out this post, back him, don’t criticise every average performance, he didn’t cost United today. He had a chance but Van de Ven made an incredible challenge. This post is just to pile pressure on and get attention. Do better.

Unfortunately Sesko cost Manchester United that result today. Game was set up for him to bring it home, all the hard work done... just needed him to be precise and clinical as Spurs desperately searched for the equaliser. His lack of aggressive confidence in the openings he got allowed Spurs to get back into the game with more vigour as they lacked the fear United were going to hurt them. Shame as the last thing the lad needed was more of a 'pile on'... but that performance will get called out. #mufc

Didn’t deserve that… thought #mufc were the better team…. Basically lost to Stoke… 3 things I take from that.. Bruno doesn’t work as an 8, we need a new keeper… and Ugarte is absolute toss…

MPs voted today on 'New Clause 3 of the Football Governance Bill [HL]' This would have required 10 Premier League games, the League Cup Final & EFL playoff finals all to be shown live on free-to-air UK TV every season. They voted 340 against, with just 86 in favour.

@ZiaYusufUK @BernardMowle In response to those saying WFH doesn't affect productivity: ".. productivity is way down. The public sector is 8% less efficient than in pre-Covid 2019, which means the taxpayer now pays more for less across a broad front of public services ..." Andrew Neil 21/5/25.

Kent County Council spends £100,000,000 of taxpayer money per year on employees that ‘work from home’. Reform’s DOGE team spent several days there and the office was a wasteland. Nobody working. The CEO says these employees have monitoring software on their laptops but she does not “actively check” whether their employees are using them. Kent Council is refusing point blank any analysis of the (anonymised) data. I wonder why? There is much, much more to reveal about just how much Kent Council is taking advantage of taxpayers.

London Council has released a video showing a white man sexually abusing a black woman on public transport. It’s the same pattern we’ve seen before—crimes that, statistically, white British men are far less likely to commit are being deliberately misrepresented. Netflix’s Adolescence did the same when it turned a real-life case of a black boy stabbing a girl to death into a white boy doing the stabbing. It’s happening over and over again. This isn’t about attacking ethnic minorities. It’s about accuracy. Either these adverts and films are made to warn and educate, in which case they should reflect reality, or they’re being made just to demonise a particular group. There’s no point pretending these are crime prevention campaigns if they’re pushing an entirely false picture. In London, 56% of arrests involve ethnic minorities, despite them making up 46% of the population. Per capita, ethnic minority men are 1.5 times more likely to be arrested than white men. Knife crime, gang crime, sexual assaults—official figures show white British men are far less likely to be responsible. Yet, in media and advertising, they’re almost always cast as the villains. This is about fairness. People should not be unfairly targeted in crime prevention campaigns—whoever they are. If a warning is meant to protect the public, it should be based on who is actually committing the crime, not on a narrative designed to shift blame.

@horseracerating @louloulou252 @LBC @TomSwarbrick1 If he’s earning in collectively 6-7k a month, I’m sure there are people much worse off than him. He may have a really bad condition, but if he’s earning a significant amount, should he rely on PIP regularly to fund therapy.

‘Why should the taxpayer pay for your therapy when you’re earning?’ @TomSwarbrick1 speaks to caller Daniel, who explains why he relies on PIP to help live with ADHD and autism.

@louloulou252 @LBC @TomSwarbrick1 But surely that’s the reason he’s picked them, he isn’t the average person and probably shouldn’t get PIP to pay for his therapy, when that would be better going to someone else, or spent elsewhere. How many others are like this?

@LBC @TomSwarbrick1 Have you spoken with someone who cannot work because of their disability? Or can only work part time? This is not a typical person who claims PIP. Your producer picked him due to that. In the past week LBC have also argued that ADHD is a scam. Until it happens to you though...

Funding cut for churches meanwhile mosques are handed £117M. Yet another example that @UKLabour are traitors to the British people. You don't have to be a Christian to understand that without it this Country wouldn't be what it is today. KEEP BRITAIN CHRISTIAN 🇬🇧

@lukesellers98 The youth team and women’s team won’t generate enough revenue to keep it running, should United pay to keep two 75k + stadiums running? Imagine how much that would cost.

@UnitedStandMUFC Once the glazers are gone, can you go also? One of the worst things to happen to the club in recent years is how much you push the negativity and agendas for clicks, and claiming you love Utd when you chose Utd for your business because it would make you the most money.
