In a stunning Easter morning post ex-congresswoman and Trump groupie Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene makes clear she has had enough of the un-Christian behavior Donald J. Trump, as well as the people who still bend the knee to him and implement his ungodly agenda.
"Everyone in his administration that claims to be a Christian needs to fall on their knees and beg forgiveness from God and stop worshipping the President and intervene in Trump’s madness," Greene tweeted. "I know all of you and him and he has gone insane, and all of you are complicit.”
She got specific about Trump's illegal, unprovoked, Iran war:
“The Strait is closed because the US and Israel started the unprovoked war against Iran based on the same nuclear lies they’ve been telling for decades …
"Trump threatening to bomb power plants and bridges hurts the Iranian people, the very people Trump claimed he was freeing … This is not making America great again, this is evil.”
She reminded Christians that Jesus commanded love and forgiveness, even of enemies, and summed up that Trump “is not a Christian” and that his actions should not be supported by believers.
Wow. It's hard to believe, but Greene seems like one of the good guys these days. In any case, this represents a massive cracks in MAGA unity among many others as the situation hideously spirals beyond the tolerance levels for many who have supported Trump's tax policies while holding their noses.
When Greene uses terms like insane, evil, and un-Christian, it transcends politics and gets to what it means to be a moral human being. The Trump administration has lost the plot on every level, including the spiritual, and all in opposition must stand together.
Once one of Trump's most loyal followers, Greene now represents a huge crack in the MAGA ice, which will spread and grow until the Trump era crumbles.
Do we want MTG on our team? Sure, she's said and done some horrible things, but at this point, if someone is willing to stand up to the madness, we should welcome the help no matter who they are.

It is unlikely that Donald Trump, a man who is sin manifest, will heed the words of the Holy Father, but such an unmistakable rebuke on Easter morning is still very significant for those who are not thralls in Trump’s cult.
