Fascinating. I tried to get funding for a project on the impact of narratives and the construction of specialness recently but it didn’t get off the ground because of a lack of “non-academic stakeholder and impact partners”. It’s an important topic though.

👇🏼 Federal oversight SLOWS our ability to prosecute local crime. Eliminating the DC Attorney General is unacceptable and an insult to the 700K taxpayers and residents of Washington, DC, which appears to be the point based on the past month’s activity here.

The cheapest health insurance on D.C. 's exchange is $700+ per month with a $6500 deductible. Kicking working families off Medicaid will mean many residents will opt not to have insurance because the exchange is so expensive. It will make DC sicker and make our ERs primary care.
