Over 500 Attacks Since Start of Iran–U.S.–Israel War Leave 11 Pêşmerge and 2 Civilians Dead in Kurdistan Region
The rising number of casualties from recent attacks has sparked widespread anger among the Kurdish public and political groups. Kurdish parties and political figures have expressed condolences to the victims’ families and strongly condemned the attacks.
According to reports, since the start of the Iran–U.S.–Israel war, the Kurdistan Region has been targeted by more than 500 drone and missile attacks carried out by Iran and its allied groups.
Since the beginning of the conflict, bases and camps of Iranian Kurdish parties in the Kurdistan Region have also been targeted at least 160 times by missile and drone attacks linked to Iran’s IRGC and its allied groups.
So far, 11 Pêşmerge fighters and 2 civilians have been killed.

2- Ismail Rahimi (Ako) – Komala Party of Iranian Kurdistan – killed near Sulaymaniyah – March 7, 2026
3- Omid Veysi (Omid Ravansar) – Komala Party of Iranian Kurdistan – killed south of Sulaymaniyah – March 11, 2026
4- Iqbal Salehpour – Khabat Organization of Iranian Kurdistan – killed in Erbil – March 13, 2026
5- Fakhraddin Moradi – Khabat Organization of Iranian Kurdistan – killed in Erbil – March 13, 2026
6- Rêber Abdullah – Pêşmerge forces – killed in missile attack in Soran – March 24, 2026
7- Ramin Adel (Ramin Oremari) – Pêşmerge forces – killed in the same attack – March 24, 2026
8- Pshtywan Mulla Musa – Pêşmerge forces – killed in the same attack – March 24, 2026
9- Shahab Bekhashashi – Pêşmerge forces – killed in the same attack – March 24, 2026
10- Zakri Bekhashashi – Pêşmerge forces – killed in the same attack – March 24, 2026
11- Keywan Muzaffar – Pêşmerge forces – killed in the same attack – March 24, 2026
Civilian casualties:
1- Musa Zarari – killed in a drone attack near Erbil – April 7, 2026
2- Mojda Zarari – killed in the same attack – April 7, 2026
These attacks have raised serious concerns about further escalation and instability in the region.
