Iranian Kurdish Parties Deny Receiving US Weapons, Reject Donald Trump’s Claim
Iranian Kurdish parties and the alliance of six Iranian Kurdish groups deny having received any weapons from the United States that were allegedly sent to protesters in Iran, rejecting claims made by Donald Trump, who said in an interview that such weapons had been sent and may have been taken by Kurds.

Fox News put out a story today in the middle of a war without verifying a single detail. They can’t say how many weapons were allegedly involved, which Kurdish opposition figures supposedly received them, how untrained protesters throughout Iran were meant to be trained, armed and supplied, or who within the Iranian protest movement was even supposed to take responsibility for those weapons and their distribution.
On top of that, Kurdish forces and opposition parties have denied they received any arms at all in connection with these protests, and Kurdish groups simply don’t have the reach inside Iran to distribute weapons to protesters on a nationwide scale.
So how can one go on national television and imply to the entire American public that the Kurds stole weapons intended for Iranian protesters without answering these basic, fundamental questions first? This isn’t a just an oops.
I’m all for arming the Kurds, I’m not okay with making an ally political scapegoats whenever it’s convenient to do so!

Some Kurdish factions are responding to the remarks from President Trump. "We did not receive any weapons during the time of the demonstrations in Iran," Hejar Berenji, PDKI Representative to the USA told Fox News. Fox also reached out to additional Kurdish parties for comment.

Exactly 1 month ago - Trump made headlines when stating that he rules out having the Kurds join the war. Now he is saying that Kurds have been armed to join the war Before that we went through several stages of headlines in which media outlets cited US government officials and CIA sources that a Kurdish offensive is imminent while others were stating that a Kurdish offensive has already begun. Then they stated that we are currently being trained while others said that 4x4 vehicles are being bought in masses. Now we made a full circle and have once again reached the state where it’s being said that we are being armed.
