#sorare26 Challenge time! I’ve done this before and kept a thread so here it is again. Spent £4k (although half was winnings held from last season), try and hit a target. Pretty simple recoup the £4k spend. Les Goh!

@DanielToftMusic I’ve always players limited and rare because I love the game. It’s fun. ROI isn’t even a consideration for me and I’m not even close but I’ve spent a fair chunk of money. It makes me wonder why would I bother keeping on doing so when I can play like this.

Time will tell, cant really compete for me as a SR/U player where im able to hit a 10k+ jackpot in one line up, but maybe as an alternative to lower scarcities? Im not sure. I think people will struggle to hit the target because 480 is tough and if you pick up some gems and end up with no return that might discourage users and bring them back to pro where you at least have your in season players for the entire season and you can use your "premium" players in future seasons as well. 🤷‍♂️

Physical drop-off. Nothing else. That's the main issue. This is exactly why Nico G has to play more in the remaining games. Either Pep drops Bernardo and finds a way for Rodri, Nico G, and O'Reilly to coexist in midfield (because it's possible). Otherwise, we'll keep dropping points, and those mental lapses will keep happening. Simple as that.

Found the solution. Four man streak.

@SorareNick @Sorare Assuming rewards don’t suffer I wouldn’t oppose it (not to say I would vote for). I don’t like the idea of having to be available 24/7 to change though. Needs deadlines.

My ideal solution next season on @Sorare (just my opinion, don’t shoot me) Game is fully split into streaks and leaderboard as the MLS is done but with some slight adjustments. 1. Leaderboard has no solution to DNP, full on you vs the community for leaderboard prizes, no divisions just 1 lineup to fight it out! 2. Streaks have a substitution allowance for DNPs. This means if you have a DNP at any point during the weekend, before that game starts you can swap that player out for another card in your gallery. But there’s a cost, e.g. 1 change, threshold moves up 15 points, 2 changes and the threshold moves up 25 points and so on. This benefits absolutely everyone in every way (in my opinion), if you don’t wan to make a change, you don’t have to, if you do it costs you but you don’t have a fully dead team. If a players on the bench you have a choice to make, hope they come on or get a replacement in. This for me would make Sorare thrive even more than it is, active market through the weekends, a player needs to make a change and their threshold extends for that lineup. The points per replacement could be adjusted, but I’d love to know people’s views from either side of the DNP fence???

@GeronimoMorgans All three narrow attackers on the pitch, only one holding midfielder on the pitch who is more capable of effecting the final third than the other one, both full backs high and wide. Defending with only three when in possession. But yeah, Pep not trying to win the game 🤦🏻‍♂️

City fans getting upset and angry about the performances is completely fair, there's nothing wrong with that. Pep has his lineups and his football logic, and yeah, there's always reasoning behind it. But at the end of the day, there are basics to this game that can't be ignored. We lose 3–0 to Real Madrid. The fanbase puts aside the disappointment, shows up, gets behind the team again. And that performance is how you repay them? At the very least, be brave. Show that you want to win the game. Show that you want the three points. Show that you're trying everything you can to turn it around. But that wasn't happening. We only saw that urgency in the last ten minutes. You can't play that way and expect people not to react.

@SorareMonkey @Sorare I dont want one but I do get the frustration when something unexpected happens, illness or whatever. But I can’t see how you solve the unexpecteds without bailing out what is simply bad or wrong decisions. Taking the risk is a fine strategy but you have to accept the consequence

Whilst I agree we need a DNP solution on @Sorare. In this instance they were both a massive risk and 70% I believe, but in the notes explained the risk. It's the start of the season in MLS and teams often prioritise the CCC, resting guys at the weekend. We see it every year. I have Messi and RDP and put them mainly in arena's this weekend.

@SoRarePip @ni2las You can and should make your own decision, especially when the “expert” is just a guesser. Pep Roulette is literally a community phrase, they’re against 3rd bottom & they have a massive game midweek. It’s on you. It’s exactly why a DNP solution shouldn’t be implemented
