Dolos v1 is here. 🚀 Years of building. Almost a 1000 commits. One goal — a Cardano node optimized for dApp backends. Today it's production-ready 🧵

Built with love for Cardano, and powered by Demeter.Run I definitely recommend checking them out if you are building something on Cardano and need scalable and reliable infra resources. @DemeterRun global.cardano-visualisation.com

Ghost chain? No devs? We'll see about that! Cardano Buidler Fest 2026 registration opened a few days ago. Each time a ticket is purchased, one of these ghosts 👻 turns into a Cardano nerd 🤓. buidlerfest.com/ghost-chain

This is awesome. Tx3 already appears in the developer ecosystem survey after just a few months of existence and while still in beta. @txpipe_tools hasn't shared much yet, but v1 is coming, and it's going to be everything I ever wanted for Cardano DevEx 🫶

Last week taught us that being a Cardano SPO is no walk in the park — managing infra is complex. What happens when we add 10+ partner-chains + Midgard + Hydra + bridges + oracles? How do we unify operations without compromising decentralization? Enter: SuperNode 🧵👇

Every now and then, I get to introduce the Cardano stack to a new dev. The perplexity on their faces is unmistakable. It makes me wonder: - Are we just masochists who like it rough? - Is the UTxO model to blame? - What does it have to do with Monkey Island? Let me explain🧵👇

Cardano and eUTxO have a reputation of being hard compared to EVM and the account model. TxPipe mission is to change this. We want devs to chose Cardano because of its DevEx. All of our open-source work converges into one: Tx3 - An UTxO development toolkit 👇🧵

I'm not a language maxi, I strongly believe in choosing the right tool for each job. However... There's a huge productivity boost if you somehow manage to keep all of your project's codebase within the realms of a single, cohesive toolchain. (whichever that is)

Weekend is a good timing to think about random stuff. Another question, is it possible to expose the node.socket at one remote server for multiple other destination to run indexers?

I feel that AppChains are heavily underrated, at least in our beloved Cardano ecosystem. It's not a one-size-fits-all solution, but there are significant advantages for protocol builders to consider: - Run an isolated execution environment - Use node clients tailored to specific needs - Choose your own consensus tradeoffs Who might need it? - Cross-enterprise collaboration (eg: supply-chain) - Game-specific chains - Cross-chain oracles or DEXs I've been looking into @Chainflip's code. It's a great example of a Substrate-based AppChain focused on cross-chain swaps. I would love to see if Cardano integration is possible. Maybe @txpipe_tools can help? The @MidnightNtwrk is another great of example of how to tackle a particular problem (privacy) by creating a custom execution environment without any legacy or external constraints. As with any tech, AppChains also have their important downsides when compared to a general-purpose one: - building up the network of node-operators. - aligning incentives and reward mechanisms. - reaching a reasonable degree of network security. - extra development & maintenance effort. Hopefully, some of the above can be mitigated by the concept of "Partner Chains" and the SDK that @InputOutputHK is developing.

Fun Cardano weekend project: a Blockfrost-like HTTP API embedded inside Dolos. It's not meant to be a replacement by any means, it provides just a tiny fraction of what the real Blockfrost service has, but... - It's just enough for tx builders to work - runs locally with very little resources - no dependencies, single binary - nice option for local development
