Concluded the 2nd JTC meeting in high spirits and a step closer to realising The Gambia's Special Accountability Mechanism. MoJ and the GOTG thanks @ecowas_cedeao for our strong collaboration, @DemocracyIntl @USAID @USEmbassyBanjul for the partnership.

Yesterday, three representatives of YPF were invited by the @DemocracyIntl's "Multiparty Advocacy Forum (MAF) Action Planning" event. Delegates from the Lal Shobujer Foundation, Youth Policy Forum, and @USAID_BD participated in ensuring the smooth running of this event. In an effort to promote better climate adaption in Dhaka, two members from YPF have pushed the action plan of MAF Democracy International. With the help of Dhaka City Corporation, the heat office, and other pertinent organizations, the action plan's goal is to lessen heatwaves. It was anticipated that these actions would conclude by the month of June. Two YPF members and political figures from the Bangladesh National Party, Jatiya Party, and Awami League are on the action plan committee to carry out this objective. The team made great strides toward developing a specific advocacy plan and schedule, as well as drafting an Action Plan in collaboration with political leaders from Bangladesh's main political parties. YPF is hopeful that their advocacy work will soon result in subtle but noteworthy advancements for Dhaka's climate adaption! #democracyinternational #ypfadvocacy
