Before tomorrow’s Ways and Means Committee markup on disaster tax legislation, which includes H.R. 4970 to exclude FVT payments from federal taxes, I am hand delivering letters of support from FVT claimants to Committee members to be sure that their voices are heard.

I’m saddened by the loss of Senator Dianne Feinstein. We regularly worked together on common ground to represent our constituents’ needs and wellbeing. From her early roots as the 1951 Rodeo Queen at Cow Palace, it’s not likely there will ever be another like her in CA politics.
