ICE killed a man in Texas last week and now another person in Maine. This is unacceptable. We need independent investigations into these killings immediately and sensible solutions like mandatory body cameras for agents to keep people safe

The President's trade war is hitting our communities hard. From March 2025 to May 2026, Californians paid $58 billion more in tariffs, many of which have since been ruled illegal by the Supreme Court. My Illegal Tariff Refund Act would require the government to return that money to the hard-working Americans who paid higher prices because of the illegal trade war.

My Lowering Student Loans Act would set a fixed 2 percent interest rate for all Federal Direct student loans.
