@DerekCurtis_ started posting in some subreddits, then my personal Linkedin profile and now Meta ads with small amounts.

On December ’25 I left my $8k/mo as PM role and decided to take the path as an indie hacker. I had some ideas and started vibe coding. I do hold a CS degree but haven’t touched code in 10 years. For my 1st idea, I decided I will go with a Blinkist style app but for my native language . I started building in public in Linkedin and posted in Reddit. My app is called Lexo: 15min , web: lexo15min.com and App store. The android version will be live in a week. After 3 months I got these results as in picture. My goals is to arrive $2k MMR in 6 months, and 5k MMR in a year (finger crossed). I do have 4 more ideas that I’m creating MVPs but still in early stages. Recently I talked to a friend whose app does $1M+/month He shared a mindset that surprised me: They don’t build features first. They build a prototype → creators make TikTok videos → watch what goes viral. If the video hits → they ship the feature. If not → they move on. Content validates demand before code. I was shocked at first. But this is exactly why they’re growing insanely fast

software was better when it cost real money to build the barrier kept half-baked ideas out. now anyone can ship in 2 hours with AI and most of them do

been working from home for 3 years i love it but i'm starting to feel the downsides it's lonely. it's distracting. and it's fucking with my routine there's no real barrier between work and personal life thinking about trying coworking spaces. might fix the routine, might help me separate work from home, maybe even meet some people anyone made this switch?

Why does App Review feel like trying to pass Gandalf protecting hobbits? I got rejected, but it’s fine. Totally not because they didn’t test the app deep enough to discover the Apple Pay implementation 🙄 That meant I had the opportunity to add more polish ✨ Added: • Gallery views + product zoom • Safety information (thanks EU) • Return policy • Fixed order updates • Implemented a misprint claim flow Now I’m waiting for app review again.
