@MarkLikesMovies Idk man, I watched the Jack Black/Paul Rudd Anaconda movie on a flight — where time literally doesn’t count — and I still want those two hours back

This is in response to me answering a question on my thoughts about John Collins’ fit in Detroit mind you

@AriWagner_ I agree! I think no matter what Duren ends up coming back as a Piston at the end of the day. Hopefully for nothing north of 40M!
English

@DetroitPlaybook I'd rather trade Duren to Pels for TMIII and junk than Keegan and Monk. All that said, Duren will be a Piston again by week's end.
English

I still want Jalen Duren in Detroit!!
But if he’s leaving, there’s only one acceptable pivot:
Keegan Murray + unprotected Kings 1st. Then use the $25M TPE, the acquired Kings pick and 2 Pistons picks into Trey Murphy III.
Cade. Trey. Ausar. Keegan. FA center.

To add on here, I’m told that Jalen Duren very much wants to play in Sacramento and Kings big man Domantas Sabonis is likewise interested in the prospect of landing with the Pistons.

@JOHUAsa Mf uses “like” every other word. At this point, it’s less of a filler word and more of a speech impediment

Drake’s former bodyguard on what it’s really like working with Drake and his work ethic.
...to watch this person go out like night after night especially on tours and like perform like it's like robotic man yeah that's crazy like in a very positive way not like in a negative way it's just like it's like ingrained this Showmanship and like this this person that this person becomes stage and like how they perform is like it's dead on show to show like you could probably run the shows overlapping each other and it would look the same like there's that much consistency to it"

@realgoodrealhot @KuKhahil Because he is the prototypical wing we want to pair alongside Cade? An elite defender and reliable 3 point shooter. He’s not going to get a max contract, but we could certainly offer him a contract that other teams can’t match. He wouldn’t be our only off-season acquisition lmao
English

This is both intriguing and terrifying from a pistons perspective

OG Anunoby is not ‘thrilled’ with the Knicks’ current offer and will test the free agent market, per @WindhorstESPN “Let's keep an eye on that. Most people believe Anunoby will stay with New York, but there have been indications he may want to test the market, because he's not thrilled with what the Knicks are offering.” (Via @GetUpESPN / h/t @RealGM )

@accidentallysly @nsitto2 I love Duren. Disappointed in his playoff performance but no doubt he’s got a lot of untapped potential. My question is, do you think you can win a championship if Duren is your 2nd or 3rd best player?
English

@DetroitPlaybook @nsitto2 i think you are undervaluing how promising a player he is at 22
English

@BrianJYoung1 @nsitto2 I don’t totally disagree, but it’s moreso let’s not put all our eggs in one basket. If we can sign Duren AND Ausar at fair deals, that means we can add more depth to our roster to improve the lack of spacing and creation
English

@DetroitPlaybook @nsitto2 Which is on Thompson and Tobias not being able to shoot 3s with spacing Cade and Duren dominate. In the playoffs teams just packed the paint left the wings wide open
English

@BrianJYoung1 @nsitto2 Over time it will, similar to Duren. I think playoff Duren will be better as time goes on too. I just don’t think he deserved a contract 200M+, let alone 220M+. Especially since this postseason exposed us for our lack of shooting and creation.
English

@BrianJYoung1 @nsitto2 Ausar is a generational defender…he thrived in the playoffs too, he didn’t look any different than he did in the regular season. You could argue he actually performed better during the playoffs tbh. He’s well worth the 160-170M bag. His offense needs to improve of course but…
