@PewPewGuy23 @CardPurchaser It happens on all levels and sometimes you overpay that’s just the hobby… I’ve definitely overpaid before. But I don’t buy from anyone who is promoting cards for 200-300% of comps lol, if this guy actually looks up the value think he will buy from that seller again?

@OnlyCharizard Assuming you sell live right? It’s not okay to say “rainbow holo only blue select Steph Curry” when it’s just a base card. It’s not okay to say “sells for $200” when it last sold for $31. Just run the card at $1 and let it be what it is

@JeddyBreaks Thats how you learn. Get burned enough and you make sure it doesnt happen again. Its not our job to hold the hand of people with no common sense. Let them get scammed, then maybe theyll learn. Nobody is forcing anyone to buy anything.

@OnlyCharizard I agree just was making a point that new collectors in the hobby can be easily manipulated and preyed upon and it’s just a shame lol…

@JeddyBreaks Blame this on the seller all you want but as the buyer its your job to know what youre buying. If I have an item worth $100 and I list it for $500 and someone buys it thats not really my problem.

@baseball_cards @CardPurchaser I 100% agree… but also, a lot of new collectors don’t know any better so you got a guy streaming with over 100 ppl in the live and he’s saying “great buy” “great take” “that’s a steal” to all of your purchases. The next time he says “this went for over $200” and ppl believe it

@baseball_cards @CardPurchaser The problem is too that this guy will tell his buddies how awesome these cards will be when he gets them how they “are worth so much” because he paid high on them and his soul will be crushed when he goes to a show to sell them and no one wants them…
