Unprivating for a bit to help draw attention to this. Streamers have been around for quite a while now and card issuers still can't figure out how to handle scams like this.
$10k is a massive unexpected expense. It should never have gotten to that point in the first place. YT and/or the card issuer need to eat the loss here since neither party was able to verify the legitimacy of the purchase. The streamer fulfilled their obligations.

Im looking at 10k in charge backs that I found out about today. I messaged @YouTubeCreators and they said message creator support who informed me I'll be paying for all of it and was shit out of luck. Looks like this is going to be happening to tons of creators moving forward.
