@ThePhantomGenEi True. Their definition of "basics" seems not to align with the old skool model of real tekken; defensive fundamentals and a balanced risk/reward meta, as it doesn't fit the Tekken 8 vision of overturned offense.

@DjayVoo That "Back to basics" has a waaaay deeper context than what it sounded like in the s3 trailer. It takes some processing to understand its meaning as they explain it in the article, but a proper "back to basic" means removing the Heat systems, which is a core element of Tekken 8.

"Season 3 does not guarantee dramatic, immediate shifts such as substantially strengthening defense or significantly weakening offense in ways that diverge from the intended gameplay philosophy of TEKKEN 8" Translation: Season 3 is NOT going back to basics!
