This is cartoonish. A +21°F (+11.7°C) national anomaly over the 1991–2020 baseline is the kind of number you’d expect from a broken model run… not reality. Yet here we are. March 20th and the entire country looks like late May (or worse). Records falling coast to coast, warmth saturating everyregion. But sure—tell me more about how this is “natural variability.” 🤣

One thing that is really disheartening about the rise in gas prices is how hard it is going to hit touring bands this year. It affects all bands, but young bands who only might be making a couple hundred bucks a day, the difference between a dollar or 2 per gallon at the pump will decide if they can tour or not. This will break some bands.

@DocCoyle He thinks the stock market is the economy. He doesn't care that less than 50% of citizens don't have a penny in it. Also, tons of foreign investors and companies are invested/listed in our markets. They bet on failures as well as potential success. Completely out of touch.

I literally think the only thing Trump cares about is the stock market. He pays lip service to winding down the war on a Friday afternoon to manipulate the market because he knows it is closed for 2 1/2 days. Is it a TACO or just market manipulation?

What just happened? At 2:30 PM ET today, CBS News reported that President Trump was considering "boots on the ground" in Iran. Then, at 3:43 PM ET, President Trump said "I don't want to do a ceasefire with Iran," with the S&P 500 hitting a new 2026 low. Exactly 90 minutes later, at 5:13 PM ET, President Trump said the US is "considering winding down" the war with Iran. Between the 3:43 PM ET and 5:13 PM ET comments, the S&P 500 had already risen nearly +1% on NO news. By 6:15 PM ET, the S&P 500 rallied +1.8% from its low, adding +$900 BILLION in market cap. Markets are now closed until Monday.

What really scares me about this Iranian War is that I am worried that it will set off a rash of Islamic terrorism in the west and US. And if there is a big enough 9/11 or Oct 7th level attack, that we get drawn in and go all in with a full scale war in retaliation.

🚨 Do you understand what this man just pulled off.. > a guy from North Carolina used AI to generate hundreds of thousands of songs.. uploaded them to Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon.. then botted billions of streams on his own tracks and walked away with $8 million > 660,000 fake streams per day.. spread across thousands of AI songs so nobody noticed.. $1.2 million a year.. for music no human ever actually listened to real artists are out here grinding for 0.003 cents per stream.. promoting on TikTok.. begging for playlist placements.. and this guy just had AI make the music AND the audience first-ever criminal streaming fraud case.. he's paying back $8 million.. but the playbook is out there now.. and AI just got better since he started the music industry spent 10 years fighting piracy.. now they have to fight songs that don't exist being listened to by people who don't exist.
