Another factor we don’t talk about much, but has played a huge part:
UNC’s inability to produce the kind of NBA players they did in decades past has greatly impacted recruiting. The Coach Ks, Scheyers, & Caliparis of the world have used that against UNC, as they should.

How did #UNC get here? It’s more than just Hubert. A few thoughts: - drawn out NCAA investigation - RW not big on OADs - RW saw changing landscape he wanted no part of (NIL, portal), retired a bit prematurely - HD also not big on OADs - UNC transitioned poorly to new landscape
