20 years ago today this group won a National Title. The first team title for the NSIC. Before this team, the NSIC was the NCCโs ugly step-child. Of the 6 games, the easiest games were the regional final against Northern and the national title game against Virginia Union.

I experienced a similar situation at John Brown, another SAC school, when they dropped their Comm dept. out of nowhere. There was no warning and underclassmen werenโt even allowed to graduate with their intended major.
Soulless cuts like these are unfortunately not uncommon.

Unfortunately, I have experience with a situation like this, and all I can say is that this seems like an incredibly stupid, knee jerk decision. From the information I have heard, neither coach was warned or given the opportunity to fundraise. golfoklahoma.org/oklahoma-city-โฆ
